***Rebuilding my VW type 182 Thing***

Sorry for the poor result of camera it was my camera phone.How much worthy is this VW stucked under loads of things?Almost 75 percent complete car.

if she's not rusted i'd offer up to 1.5 for her, but from what i can see it would seem she's been standing for quite some time now and will require a TON of work. i'd try my luck and offer 60-70k and see what happens from there. expect to pay at least 2 lacs on top to get her running and on the road again.

There are only 8 on the road in PK as far as we (VWCOP) know so these cars are quite rare and worth restoring. specially since she is a late model 182 (RHD) which are considered VERY collectable in the UK. if you decide to buy it, i can send you a list of all the possible parts you'd ever need for it (excel sheet) so you can then decide what to buy when.

BTW if that roof isn't cracked & the guy is willing to sell it seperately i'll offer him 10000rs right now for it (can negotiate slightly).

Thanks buddy, as for why they ate so shiney,... Nasir picked them up in Canada and I re-polished them when they got here. I've got a knack for making metal shine (hint to what is happening to my 1303)

I was away so couldn't reply ....
I talked to owner for 30 minutes approximately i was behind this ''THING'' for 6 months but he is not willing to sell.Then I requested him to restore it at least.
What he said me that i will restore it after a month or so and will sell it for 2 million lollllzzzz and if i didn't get 2 Million i will not sell it.He suggested me to check this car in the movie name speed 2 a lady drives it you might know.
Well you can try him by hook and crook method otherwise it will be finished because 2 years later he just sold a 1959 peugeot to a kabaria and he cut it into many pieces.
Furthermore i asked him about the rood and he said its the only car with a roof with Mexican seals on it and he himself never seen this car with a roof.He also showed me a picture in his mobile of a BABA gees ''THING'' in kohat in white color you might be familiar with it.
This car is of 1998 embassy according to his info.

Dear All, I am hoping you could help, I am looking for some spare parts for my VW Trekker. I cannot get these parts in the UK. Would anyone be will to help, I am looking for a wiper motor, wiper blade arms and a full set of dash rubber (Those along the top and bottom of the dashboard). I cannot find these in the UK were cars are RHD but very few were made ! Your help would be very much apreciated.

she is still standing as it is . he is wasting it ........... :(.
i think he is mad . last week i go to his showroom and he saw saying i will not sell it . i will rebuilt it he cant do this job . because from last 2 years he is saying the sale sentence

spent 2 hours ordering items online from the thing shop today,... and then there was an issue with my billing address.

so it seems that i'll not be bringing anything back for her when i next return. doesn't matter, she's fine as she is.
