Brother it cranks fine when cold but when hot it does crank but won't start no it doesn't jam starter as I can hear starter moving but gur gur gur noise comes only
The issue was resolved by putting a new battery but now car headgasket is blown again
I suggest that you find out why car overheated for the head gasket to burn out. Solve the overheating problem too when getting gasket replaced.
Were you using coolant? Did you find the cause of overheat?
Check it,s radiator, cooling fans, water body, radiator cap, radiator pipes, thermostat valve. These r all possible causes of overheating.Change oil after replacing head gasket.
My mehran had same problem after ring replacement. Now fine after a tuning.
Mehran I think it was my fault as I was pouring fresh water in coolant system. May be water cause it fail else car was running fine except poor idling on ac and that was due to probably faulty IACv but now I found a lot of coolant in engine oil side & smoke coming out from exhaust plus a lot of coolant was reducing even when car was driven for few minutes
I forgot to add one thing that I never saw my car temperature gauge more than half and it never went in red zone so its gasket failed without overheating as I never saw it overheated I had hardly driven it around 200 km after last overhaul and it was mostly parked at home
I hope your temperature gauge is working ok. As @aziz.rehan has mentioned please check functioning of all coolant system parts before replacing head gasket. Do not forget to check the water pump as in my car the water pump fins had eroded and it was no longer circulating coolant in the cooling system.
