okay smart man, i was not expecting that rude reply
Kindly Excuse, as my reply seemed rude, whereas that was not my intention. Cheers!
Please state your budget so i can recommend a suitable brand..Also I prefer LM over Mobil because the LM inventories are refreshed every 2.5 months where as you will find Mobils of 1-2 years lying around.
after proper warmup. Thanks for kind reply, the recommended grading for cuore is 5W30 (as on manual), well i wish that i can pure wit world best oil (Mobil1, 0W40 or 5W50). i Mobil1 5w30 is not available in pakistan i think.
brother u will damage ur car engine badly or engine oil leak happen if u use synthetic thin oil like 5w50 or 0w40.
use castrol gtx or zia hiflo and change after every 2500 km its best for car.
why ? whats bad with synthetic oil to use in Cuore ? use castrol gtx or zia hiflo ? but what range or grading ?i am new to this forum, also having cuore, kindly give your valued comments ?
what is the required API grade for your engine where it says to pour 5W30 oil,
its Zic ... not zia.
Xulfiqar bhai, kindly see the image that shows viscosity of cuore's engine oil, its pic from cuore manual.after having look at this, i thought Mobil 1, 5W50 is okay for my car ???? but currently using Total 5W30.need kind feed back of u guysthanks

seems more like a chart of SAE grading, than what @Xulfiqar asked about i.e, API grading (SG, SJ, SM, SN)..........................................i am not sure though but my own hunch is coure's API grading may not be higher than SJ.
i see, but again regarding manual, it is API SG or higher than SG.
thats what i said .... SG is not higher (advanced) than SJ. Almost all oils with API, SJ, SM, SN are all downward compatible... in simple words you can use these grades(SG, SJ, SM, SN) for your car.
So, according this chart, my question is still unanswered, would you guys recommend Mobil 5W-50 for Cuore ?thanks for feedback
seems okay for 5w50, but not sure, lets wait of some expert to comment.
Mobil1 5W50 can be used in cuore, but few things must be in mind like engine must be newbecause you a putting synthetic oil in your car, plus its batter if you are running your cuore on synthetic oil already, because if you are using mineral oil and then putting synthetic, then the poured synthetic will clear you engine from carbon first then there will a chance that you engine might starts cosuming synthetic oil.
hi,what would you say about use of 5W50 (mobil1 for cuore) regarding that chart, i am also owner of cuore.
^^ yes you can.but why waste money using pure synthetic oil in an old technology engine whose lubrication requirements are much simpler and cheaper. Much better is to use any good brand of old-school oil (pure mineral oil) with SAE grading 10W-40.
for cuore i visited this site, it recommends few engine oils, see this i hope people will can see exact oil regarding their car engine requiresOIL - DAIHATSU CUORE IV (L501) - Parts
^^ to me it seems like some auto parts store's website (from Estonia /East Europe). It only recommends those oils/parts which are available in their store. Rest choice is yours.
