Recommended air pressure in 215/55/R16

I own corolla Altis 2018 facelift. Stock tyres were of size 205/55/R16 and in those tyres Toyota Indus recommended 33 Psi in all 4 tyres. Recently I have done upsizing of tyres and installed Yokohama blueearth es32 of size 215/55/R16. I want to ask what should be the air pressure in all tyres now as I have increased the size of tyres or should I stick to 33 Psi?

Try 35PSI it will give you good steering feel and better average.

why did you install wider tires? - for pressure, there is a sticker on the car that tells you how much, read that and fill that pressure only. Overfilling the tire causes faster wear in the center area of tire and faster wear on suspension parts too.

Wider tyres are giving me better feeling in terms of comfort and grip. I wasn't believing this phenomenon but once I have upsized tyres the difference is really felt. Exactly the door side sticker mentions 33 Psi as recommended pressure but that is according to 205/55/R16. It does not state the required pressure for 215/55/R16.

Bhai jaan 31 max. For bettrr comfort. Above that ull feel bumps more. You can adjust where u feel comfortable btw.

Tyre pressure should be kept as recommended by the car manufacturer regardless of tyre size. So if 33psi is recommended by Toyota then you should keep it at 33psi even if tyre is wider.

And get a new suspension soon because of Pakistani roads. Recommend is 33 yes but they consider roads without any bumps and pot holes.

I'm sure some consideration goes into recommending tyre pressure keeping in mind suspension wear and tear. And roads are generally not that bad in big cities. And suspensions are generally not that fragile. And if the car is driven reasonably then I'm sure no big problems.

33psi recommended by toyota is hot tyre pressure. If tyre is driven for like 3-4kms then the air inside the tyre gets hot. Increase in temperature will increase volume of air. 33psi on hot tyre will be 31psi on a colder tyre for a car parked overnight. Get 33psi after driving 2-3kms and it will be 31psi on cold. If you got pump at home then fill 31psi only.

No, as per manual, 33psi is the cold air pressure.
