Bro beleive me also change the cvt oil from toyota 3S... they will completly drain the oil with proper method and clean the filter... i bought vitz one week ago i change the cvt oil anf toyota recovered 6.25ltrs of oil while it has capacity of 4 ltr.. these stupid mechanics does not know a word about vitz...

A mechanic put 1 litter ATF oil in my vitz 2006,in my absence.when i saw a empty bottle near to my car,i asked him that why this bottle is here.He replied that ur car transmission oil level was little low,so i add this.
I was so shocked,but he told me that there is very little difference in the ATF and CVTF oil,so there will be nothing wrong.
Later I drives the car for 10 km yet,nothing was noticed there.And now the question is,What will happen next,please explain something here.

Probably you will buy a new tranny in near future.
Please have that oil drained asap and replace with correct oil.

In my experience it's best to use the CVT oil recommended in the owner's manual and by the manufacturer of the vehicle. Make sure to first get your hand on the owner's manual. Any and all questions you may have about what to put in your car will be answered there. An owner's manual is the best spending you can do on your car.
