I kind of did think about it but not exactly too ambitiously. I'm the kind of guy who mostly likes stock things. The US shape specially the rear is not as good as ours to be honest If you ask me.
Secondly, those lights would become a whole assignment and a headche becoming a nuisance to find again if any idiot bangs into back of the car. Finding them again, maybe possible today but what if they are not available? And rare items have to be bought at the sellers price usually. It's not like they are a regular import or smuggling item.
And suppose they are available, if one out of 4 pieces breaks such extinct items are usually not sold as a single piece. No seller would spoil his complete set of 4 for giving someone a single piece. I experienced this kind of a problem while finding headrests, mostly no one wanted to give them as they were available only with full seat only.
