This April i received my black altis 1.6.
Initially there were some things in my mind to do with it.
1. Ceramic coating (as black color is notorious for swirls so want to protect it as much as i can)
2. Sports thiland kit. (As i love keeeping my cars with a sports look)
3.fog lights with drl covers.
Initially these are the pictures of my car after delivery.

Apparently it was looking good but i was worried to see a lot of swirls on its new paint. Jst cant wait to get it ceramic coated from luxe auto spa .

My experience is that swirls are all gone
But there are minor marks on some sections of paint when u look through flash light which are obvious with black colour but are not swirls.
Car has to be light compounded in order to remove swirls and there were a hell of them even on new car before coating.
But now its crystal clear moreover its giving bluish black shade when driving at night bcz blue crystals in paint are more clear now.

Ahmad bhai(luxe auto spa) was also very helpful for me in gaining knowledge about how to resist them.
Now there is no need to polish the car jst wash with recommended shampoo and you are good to go.

This body kit (front and back extension) was purchased from auto2000 on Montgomery road and spoiler from mughal autos.

The paint quality of kit was just pathetic.
I highly don't recommend auto 2000 as the owner of this shop was non cooperative and work was substandard. He charged me 3000 for front and back and 700 for spoiler paint. The quality of paint was soo cheap that i had to repaint the kit from my painter.
Fog lights was also installed and purchased from them.
4000 for fog lights drl cover
3800 for fog lights
800 for installation
300 for jst fitting c6 led in them lol.

Performance is good but cant compare it to original ones as doesn't got a chance to experience them.

Wow that's pathetic paintwork, I would have ripped him a new one......
i will also be getting a body kit for my 1.6 come June, and not getting exact paint matching is my biggest nightmare, will do my homework for sure and pay extra,
i'll get a simpler bodykit something like this

Also can you share price of bodykit,, is it Abs plastic?

I have searched the whole Montgomery road for this purpose.
Initially i was searching for this body kit but back was the same but it comes with different front as this is for previous model

At first i tried to get this back and facelift front but nobody was willing to give it so this shape was my second bet.
In market there are three qualities.
1.fiber hand made body kit by local body mechanics in approx 14000 ruppes (front back extension, side skirt .)
2. Chineese body kit in same shape(it comes from china painted) it includes (front and back extension only) in 29500 rupees(without fitting).
3 . Which i bought. It is taiwan made bodykit comes unpainted and includes front and back extension only (33000 for kit. Although i paid 36500 including paint and fitting)

I had redone the paint and it is jst charm to see the car.
I recommend you to get this job done from toyota delearship. ( i mean paint and fitting)
A pakwheeler brother @ArslanAbbasi helped me a lot in this
He got the kit painted from toyota @ 10k including fitting

Before(as done by painter of auto2000) jst look at the finishing it looks like a mat finished kit. Highly pathetic and painful to see after spending soo much amount)
After

Jst see the amount of gloss going from body to kit(although kit is not ceramic coated)

Mashallah a beautiful ride you have.
Now as a black car owner i must tell you that you will have to take extra care of it if you want swirl free finish. Car being ceramic coated doesn't mean that swirls won't come.
Swirls wouldn't come on even non ceramic coated car if you take care of it properly.
First of all avoid service stations at any cost. Wash your car yourself and with proper double bucket method. Invest in good pressure washer.
Don't let anybody touch your car paint when ita full of dust. Because people just love to draw lines on black car with their fingres. It drags dust particles along the paint and scracth it. Swirls will come lime this and by bot washing car properly.
Buy reload from luxe auto spa and recondition ceramic coating after every 3 to 5 months depending upon condition of paint.
Never ever dry dust the car. Don't let children sit on cars paint and dont let people stand against car paint.
Black cars demand time and extra care if you want it to look like this. Or be like any ordinary black car owner who does not care about itspaint.

I wash it by double bucket method and also had a pressure washer.
Never ever went to service station.
But by taking this much care minor swirls are poping out.
