Did that before putting on those large side-bags. And BTW, they only add in about 5 lbs of weight and don't effect the aerodynamics of the motorcycle. I can lose 5 lbs just by taking a dump after eating hot curry :D.

As for r1's post. Bro! having a bigger exhaust does NOT reduce the engine's life. IDK where on earth you're getting your info. You only risk blowing the engine if your exhaust creates a back pressure, which is not the case with Yoshimura or Akrapovic/ HKS style exhausts.

Sidebags and screens change the aerodynamics of a bike dramatically.

BTW you using hioctane is the reasom bike not performaning wheel hioctane would have slowed you down hi Ron fuel burn slower and will slow your bike down becoz your engine lack the compression to burn all that fuel

This is true...just get fuel filled from pso company pumps the one before defence boulevard and the one around cavalry ground. I have been putting in hi octane in my car for some reasons and it's not as much fun as the mixed hi octane and super thing. Because pehlay tou hi octane milta nai lahore mein upar say by the time it reaches here the quality is drastically lower than in karachi, so i havent been able to find a proper combo of no knocking 180k km's and a 9.5:1 compression from factory doesnt help in running this car without hi-octane.

On my car, just saying no one really needs a higher octane fuel unless they have knock issues. Unless their car has a properly working knock sensor which is constantly retarding timing. For the ybr if it's not knocking on super I doubt it needs high octane.

Depends on who is riding and HOW he/she/it is riding. Like I told the Yamaha guy, such claims are just "jan chhuranay wali baat", that "Why would you wanna go over 100kph?" , the answer is simple , "Because I bought a damn thing that says it can!". If you've traveled on open roads between cities on a motorcycle you would understand why someone would want to go that fast.

Not only that, even in countries with relatively good traffic laws, and definitely a hundred times better laws than Pakistan, motorcycle deaths are not that uncommon. For example , in one province of Canada only, over 30 people died in a year on motorcycles, and that's where you get to ride motorcycles on the freeway ( motorway ).

Anyway, back to the topic. Hopefully I'll try to get the tuning done at the end of the month and retest the motorcycle on an open road again.

Secondly, do yourself a favor and google a bit about vehicles listed top speeds in speedometers. Yeh example hay in companies ki deception ki keh unrealistic top-speeds likhtay hayn sirf marketing ki gharz say.

What Yamaha is doing to their customers is called "Bait and Switch" technique, aur yeh bohat hi ghatya technique hay keh ap likhayn kuch aur bechnay kay baad keh dayn keh "nahin yeh 100 say ooper nahin ja sakti kyunkeh is ki engine limit itni hay".

You have put 2 boxes, a windshield and you are asking for a bike to perform extraordinary ? even 100 is good with these accessories. remove these, remove this rakhsa wali windshield and then try. it will surely do justice with speed.

Aqeeq in the first video it can be clearly seen guy is taking advantage of hilly road
his bike goes 120+km/h on coming down from hill and in the 2nd video though
rider has tried to hide but it can there spotted easily if you watch carefully he is
also using some bridge or flyover

I don't completely disagree that ybr can't go over 100km/h yes some does that
but in those videos definitely they are taking advantage of incline and personally
my experience with ybr & ybr-g's I have ridden is not satisfactory in terms of top
speed very much same like Honda deluxe.

Many people don't even keep bike till 7000km infact many don't even wait for running
period so waiting till 7000km is very hard so what you are telling is not satisfactory
its good for those who didn't buy ybr only for top speed but guys who are inspired
from ybr looks and buys ybr and he is also misguided by showroom owner who tells him
this bike goes 120-130km/h now when he take his ybr out on road than he is really frustrated
with ybr purchase and he thinks waisted his money nothing looks good to him in ybr

Increasing tyre pressure in both wheels also makes a noticeable difference in speed of the bike,
My CG does 105-107 when tyre pressure is higher, but only goes 103 when factory recommended pressure. (Normal sitting position without head down, in both cases)

People call customer service because they might have a legitimate COMPLAIN. And it's part of training for customer service personnel to listen to the customer ,try to understand their emotions and issues and rectify the problem. I know because I've received and given such training in my career.

Either way, just to make my point clear, the 100+ issue in itself is still not a deal-breaker for me if told in advance. And for other fan-boys out there, I mentioned this previously that I DID try to top the bike on a straight line (Faisal Avenue in Islamabad is pretty level") , this was BEFORE I put those Rickshaw wali windshield and those big boxes ( which are actually aerodynamically designed so don't make a difference, but anyway).

The point is simple, the bike doesn't deliver what it promises to the word. Other than that, without question it's a better bike than what's available in the market on the 125 category.

My friend rode a CD-125 with his son, who is about 10 behind him. Their total weight makes up for the difference. What's left? 1 bhp? That doesn't explain the difference in top-speed.
