Replacing OEM head unit for carplay

Has anyone replaced the OEM head unit on their car with something that supports Apple Carplay, and can share their experience? What head unit model did you install and from which shop?

I have a 2018 Corolla Grande and want carplay on it, but I'm not looking to buy a chinese head unit. I want all integrations (multimedia buttons, cameras) to work and installation should be jack-to-jack (no wires cut).

Is there a budget in mind? Because you can get good branded headunits that have carplay/aa for around 50-70k. But they will look a little small due to the larger center console facia on the facelift corollas. Installing a larger Android headunit is better but something like the nakamichi 5510 or the onkyo 1300 which are 4/64gb, fast and far superior to those other crappy android units

Another option would be the new pioneer 6650bt android headunits which cost 135k.

What is a decent 7" head unit (android or not doesn't matter) that I can find for a Civic FD? Needs to fit in the stock fascia.

Pioneer A215bt for under 30k. 7 inch standard din size. 6.2" screen. Has all the advanced pioneer audio functions including 3 pre outs, time alignment, crossover settings, slope settings etc. Similarly the 275 and 285 can be bought for a bit cheaper (close to 20k)

There are a few models that come with the full 7" screen and can range from 40-65k
