PAMA website has the number of Balenos produced since 1998. Those numbers roughly add up to 25K...I am not a Suzuki fan...but I do have the right to my opnion, just like the rest of the posters. This is a discussion group. We are all open minded, so no worries, nothing personal at all.

What if Baleno is a failure or success? Does Pak Suzuki paying a share of it's profit to anyone of us.....NO WAY. These are actually business tactics that every company claims it's products a success and others as failure.

By the way no need to justify whether a vehicle is a success or failure, but rather it is everyone's choice which vehicle to select. If someone is going to compare the local available cars with INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS then I think all the Cars running in Pakistan are FAILURE.

I think there is no need to discuss this issue anymore

What does the failure or success of a car have to do with patriotism and false egoes???????? haha

People talk about being patriotic and then go on to compare and ridicule the Pakistani auto industry with the rest of the world including developed countries which is not such a patriotic thing to do by the way.

i will try to explain my point of view only once.

The way people are giving arguements and logics for a so called Pak Suzuki, it is nothing but feeding your own egos.

Such pride statements should be made for our own pakistani acheivement, not some japanese crap which we buy at highet ever prices and further create shortages to earn haram premiums. worst still we measure siccess by this criteria that which car commands highest premium. its not a measure of suuccess of the car. Its a matter of shame for us who fill pockets of some people just to feed our own egos.

What have we done ourselves being pakistanis in making balenos a success? we just made japanese richer and richer, and still we are proud of that. Success of an imported car/pak assembled foreign car should be its value for money and utility it offers, not by looking at the own it can fetch.

We take pride in the fact that what is a failure in whole world is a success here. This is not something to be proud off. This does not show individuality of a country coz we do not make these balenos. japs do. ADam revo should be one car about which we will say proudly, "so what if nobody else in world likes or drives it, we do" but sadly we are saying it for a forign car. why. japanese ne aap logon ko rishte diye hueyn hein kiya?
Whenver u are making a statement in public, then Judge the things as they should be judged. dont judge them by your personal preferences and dont just do behas baraye behas just coz u have that bloody car.

Try to think out of the box and get yourseves out of this bloody so called black market mentality. Maybe some of u realise what we are actualy doing to ourselves. We will remain poor as a nation if such mentality continues. nothing can change for us. japs, koreans, and whoever can make a fool of us without us even knowing, in fact many of u will be happy that u have got what u wanted, but at what cost. try to find out what goes in the pockets of people whom u pay to buy a baleno, and then evaluate your contribution to the economy.

Most of u cant do that, but some learned educated people can surely do this, if they want to do so.

Secondly thanks for explaining you view only once.

That way the chinese are getting richer because Adam buys engines and transmissions and some other parts for the "REVO Complete Pakistani Car" from a chinese company.

You cannot generalize and say everyone calls a car a failure or success just because they own one or judge it on the OWN/On/Premium money.

According to you everyone in pakistan should drive a REVO.
Im sure you dont drive one and you also made the japanese or korean richer when you paid for your car.

I know suzki 73% shareholdings is japanese. do u know the meaning of this? u dont coz if u did u wont be arguing here just for the sake of it.

If u do not want general statements from me then please stop trying to force your opinion on me and stop asking direct questions. We both ahve our right to differ from each other and keep our own point of views.

My Father was part of the TEam who came out with Feasibility of Pak Suzuki and he was part of it till the venture began.
I know 5 6 things more about how this palnt was made, why suzuki was selected and how did the pricing.

Relax guys, but let me tell one thing i dont think people here in pakistan know which company has how much share, and end customer has nothing to do with company share politics, he looks the car likes it checks past history and buys it, we are talking about pure business here, demand and supply, as far as adam revo is considered i dont think more then ten people on this forum have it since its launch. may be few of us can be wrong here but not millions of people who go for suzuki or any foreign product, so that does not means that buying a japanese or korean car has to do with some kind of rishta etc, its a open businenss bro noone can force anyone to buy baleno spectra or revo, just matter of preferences and not all pakistanis r fool if we just consider it by which car they prefer or that they r not buying revo.

people dont buy a car with their own decision. They just follow the so called market trend. Same is with stcock market, any other market in Pakistan. There are few incestors who control everything and play on that follower psyche of pakistani public at large. U create a shortage for anything and see how demand increases fo that.

In fact Paksitanis are not the only ones.

The best way to publicise anything these days is to make it controversial and scarce. Its human psyche.

This is our core market.

Majority can be wrong, who says majority cant be wrong. Thats pure follower attitude.

If Quaid e azam was also the same school of thought as many of us are, then we sould have been living on loans from some baniya haldi ram chand still.
Dare to challenge the majority, withing your own capacity, u will see the other side if the coin.

BUsuness politcs:

As a business, we pay royalty to japs for 30 years old technology on every unit of production, we pay design patents, we pay cost of CKD,and still we have them as decision makers at Pak Suzuki. Now that is real picnic for them. Worst still, when i need the car i have to pay premium as well.

You guys call this a amrket and tell me that market cannot be wrong. Bullshit. This is black market not market and just because majprity is indulged in black marketing, i wont just follow it.

BTW not even once i have preached to anyone top buy a spectra. i emphasize on everyone to make informed decisions and buy whatever they like, be it suzuki or toyota, and after buying it dont just think that its the best. Its best for yourself only.
Thats my thought and my posts are true reflection of such thoughts.

Im sure the japanese dont have any share in Adam motors but Adam motors still buys the parts from china and pays them money.

The japanese have a justified calimed 73% share. Its called business and thats just how it works. They make a product that sells well and offer it to the world and make money.

How can you say people buy a car based on their own decision. Thats like you are representing ALL the people and talking on their behalf.

Im sure you know 5 6 things more about Pak Suzuki but you have nothing to justify it with.

u seem like a businessman to me. BUt do try and see what we get from Pak Suzuki in return after paying the japanese for last 23 years. But again what u have said "Its business" finishes it all off. No need to argue.
