More denting

Done with denting, Trial fitting of lights and bumpers was done last week. The car went for the paint shop last Thursday and was painted on Friday alhamdulillah.

Got fittings done on Saturday and Monday then brought the car home Monday evening. Small nicks and nacks are remaining.

Will get final polish done in around 10 days mean while we can do all other dirty work.

Primered serviced and Prepared for Paint booth.

Tuesday I went to plaza to get roof mouldings, Front windscreen rubbers and rear windshield fixed which was literally just put on body without any silicon at all.

The installer simply lifted it on his hands.

Been. Busy with other stuff and the thread having no attention. Haven't been posting. Here are the pictures after it came out of the paint booth while staying in all night.

Came out very pretty MashaAllah.

Challenger Paint and Axalta Hardner lacquer was used. The hardner lacquer were slow drying deliberately which needed more drying time.

Got gear lever cover hydro dipped.

Found what I was looking for alhamdulillah.

Original 16" 8th Gen Civic Alloy Rims and General BG thunder Tires. 205/55r16

Door Moulding Clips was a hassle, Found them at Japan Wala Magzine Line.

Some minor fixtures. The boot wouldn't close properly. Tried installing motorized lock, but couldn't find anyone in karachi to install 3 button key / remote although alot of people have it working.

Got all locks fixed, diggi, front driver door and ignition lock working on the same key, Orignal Key less entry remote working flawlessly. The car comes with factory immobilizer so didn't have to fiddle with that too.

MashaAllah, Looks beautiful with these rims on.

After I installed the rims I visited Plaza to refit the wind screen, Roof mouldings, got door pillar stickers fixed. Not a very neat job, but looks okay. Also installed airpress and floor matts.

As agreed with the painter, I keep driving her just like that for a few days and get it compound polish after all dirty work has been done.

It just needs weathersheilds to complete the oem look. The ones with the chrome strips look so bad on these cars.

Meter pad was in very rough condition gave that for repairs.

Side power mirrors aren't working after paint, Front Left window is very slow, Other 3 became better after lubrication. Will probably change machines/keinchy of all 4 power windows.

As they say nazar is real. Sunday a chingchi @$$ hole turned his vehicle out of parking without acknowledging traffic coming from behind.

Yeah, not a lot of people know this, but even the base model comes with an OEM keyless. When I bought my car, the previous owner had put an aftermarlet shit system in it. I went to Fayyaz at super auto, asked him to yank all that out and program a new key, was done in under half an hour. Still using the same key to this day.
