I know it nothing infront of your 550
but still,
Im in rawalpindi and I want to ask you that how much will the paint job cost me
the tank and the side covers and other items,
Will the paint job be satisfactory?
and were you satisfied with the paint job on your bike?

yar i don’t know much about the cost now but at that time it cost me around 8000 Rs. for the paint on the 550. and yes i was very much satisfied with the paint job and it was with a guarantee. It was done by bhaiya Kasahif, he is very expensive, but there is no match of his work.

dont know the exact time in which they were being used, but it would be before mushraf period. but they dont use it anymore, at the moment they army is using suzuki gs 500, the airforce have a few honda cbx 750, the punjab police also got new 14 of honda cbx 750.

i think the fuel tank was of 22 liters and the mileage it was giving me was 16 to 17 Km per liter, the road grip was good, it all depend on the tires conditions, it was faster then my cbx 750 initially and the max speed i took was 170Km, it could have gone further but the road ended:P

you are right
Thats pretty expensive but you must have got it fully painted i-e the tank, tapas, mudguards and blah blah
I only have to get the tanki and the tapas done
I have seen alot of denters and painters of these tankis on Muree road but dont know who is a real ustaad
also in mine one there is a sticker type thing which these days they call as "graphics" what about it? will it be removed?
Which paint do they use?
Auto colour or the ordinary one?
How was the output?
Mine is still in original colour but the right side is damaged as another bike fell on it.
I know thats alot of question but Im curious as I want to get it done and your project really caught my attention.

yar my painter to my knowledge is the best of all , thats is why he charges alot, and he is not on muree road, his shop is near to CMH. every thing was the best for me , shine , paint, etc. the stickers u are mentioninh, can be saved, coz i had painted the tank of a cbx 750, which had the same kind of sticker and logo on it, which he saved perfectly, .

well the paint job on that CBX 750 looks really neat
btw can I get the complete adress of this painter and whats his name and info?
does he still works there as you got your project completed a couple of years back

and yes I also want these side covers paited aswell because they also have lost their colour
I noticed that you got these covers chromed on your kawasaki but these would not give the same look if chromed as Im looking for genuine looks
