Engine lifted and exhaust manifold remained at the ground.....there was no joint in the manifold/pipe and back box..all in one piece so had a hard time removing it from the car .(pics to follow).

At wind screen level...The plan was to pass suspendid engine over the wind screen because bonnet was not removed...a dangerous move...
At maximum height....
Now you can see how close it is to the windscreen.....My son was wondering what we were doing...
we could not pic the engine high enough to pass over the wind screen but got enough space to close the bonnet and push car backwards...
You can see how close it was with the screen...for protection we put a piece of hard board on the screen..
