USTAAD took over and gave another good coat of paint remover...
Waiting for the paint remover to take its time and work.....
And now removal of paint.....as you can see that its white underneath.....
It was originally white and some previous owner painted it red.
I baught USTAAD a new set of "nehlas" for this work.....

After all the paint was removed from right side......
The condition of body was a BIG SURPRISE......It was spotless,rust free and in perfect condition like brand new.
I was not expecting this condition of body....see yourself...

And right rear fender....notice neatness of the panel....showing all the curves distinctive of spitfire design and my favourite part of the car.....

What paint remover did you use? Is it available in the market?

@psyborg...Yes,body is surprisingly clean....I was not expecting something like this underneath those layers of paint.....I t will turn out to be a good original specimen of triumph spitfire INSHALLAH...And now about paint remover....I was trying to get a pic of paint remover tin but could not find one..I noticed that there are some pics of the paint remover already in the pics posted above.please have a look at above posted pics,you will find the container placed right in front of the wheel...Its local and cheap one brand "silver sand" and price Rs.175/liter (I think). Regards.
