Actually money make things go as well as your levels of involvement in the project....

Both these cars/restorations are going on an open budget with no limits...

like I did not strike a deal with denter neither with painter for these restorations....It cannot be done because the extent of work required is not known...Added problem is my unneccassary detailing......

I always say them to do what ever I am asking for and I will pay what ever they ask for...as you can see in these projects....

Trying hard to finish and use both or at least one spitfire this winter.INSHALLAH.

I am always here, most of the time I remain silent to the forums. Prime objective of coming to PakWheels is to visit either your discussions or any other about Mazda 1500.

You are right abt that forum, 1500 always catch me an interest I dont know why. By the way, opel was too good. 1500 was also good.

Rest is all OK. Thats a nice idea you have come up with. It is very useful specially for hard-to-reach areas, where you cannot remove rust by hand.

Keep up the good work, Insha Allah we will see your ride on roads by winter.

why you remain silent?? believe me primary recreation for me is to be in contact with you brothers...discussions on various issues,receiving and replying your posts etc....These cars and stuff are secondery.,So please DO post...

and about Mazda 1500...the car I learnt driving on it...Right now I was coming back from school of my son...on my way back I saw a mazda 1500 in mint condition Karachi reg.Due to traffic I could not do more but you came in my mind.:).

Trying my best to bring both or at least one car on road this winter....

Thanks brothers...Its just initial/basic primer...there will be another primer on it followed by rubbings and detailing and then painting stage will reach...
will paint it in "cherry Red" INSHALLAH.

more updates and pics in this thread.
Now the whole car was primed from outside,inside the bonnet and firewall etc..
I decided (as usual) to paint underside of the car as well like we did with the blue spitfire......may be a futile exercise but I can't help it...not satisfied less than that.
one thing more that same imported paint and hardener/lacquer is used on outside/inside and underside....:$.making the same ground all over...resulting in a lot of efforts/time and a KILLING BILL by the end of the painting.:-#.
I also decided to dismantle the whole front suspension/steering and related parts for thorough cleaning/painting and replacement as per required...
So raising the car............
