Restoration story of my Spitfire convertible

Raees trying to give it a curve at edges as I marked but not successful...

SO USAAT JI (ME:)) had to jump in and took charge of the situation...lolzzzz:D...
Abusing my injured back.....Oh...what I say to this car...%^$#@&*^$^&)

And me beating the panel trying to make desired curve......

LETS STOP HERE FOR A MONENT....want to SHARE something with you brothers.....
Sometimes I feel that I am pushing myself to limits by restoring these old cars....at the age of 47...
Sometimes I feel exhausted and a sort of turned off....
Sometimes I feel that Raees (my mechanic) is black mailing me by doing things very slowly as he is making very good money out of it....and doesn't want these projects to finish....
I was talking to my spouse today that I like convertible cars and by the BLESSINGS OF ALL MIGHTY ALLAH can afford any modern convertible to drive and enjoy....
why I am taking so much pain in restoring these old cars....
And she Replied that no other car will be able to satisfy you....Its love of your life.......more than me........added that I can't escape "spitfire mania" or Spitfire fever.....
And I think she is right.....
HMMM.....
Attention/interest of you brothers in this project is playing a major role of inspiration....and its going on and on....slowly towards completion....

like how many of us can restore something like this...
this car is not valued based on financial spendings on this project.... its getting your blood sir and thats what count most. i still have those small things with me which are being restored by my dad and i love them.....

you are doing something which will make you proud owner......keep going and you earned alot of silent fans like me

I am really obliged for your nice n kind words for me....You are very true (voice of my heart) that every thing cant be evaluated on financial basis or the spendings...but the efforts /time/dedication and sentimental attachment/value is some thing else...above all things......
Only like minded people can understand all this....for others...its futile exercise.
Ones nature also plays an important role in this....The people with sensitive nature suffer most...Any small thing can hold big value for you...and for others,same thing could be considered as a piece of junk.....So its like this...

I am grateful for your appreciation.....Thank you so much brother for your feelings about me....I am a simple person who likes/prefers to live a low profile life....I have no other interests or hobbies except these "old metals"....
The true passion is to work with my own hands....but age and health conditions don't allow me to do so.....help required...
I am married for 20 years.....(with the same wife...:D)who knows me to the core...So very co-operative and helpful to the extent of her knowledge/capacity about this hobby...

I am trying to achieve the required shape by bending the edge of this piece of steel...our repair panel....
