what engine/trans combo are you using? Wasnt there a problem of overheating mentioned somewhere?

KE70 engine and tranny is in the engine bay at the moment....
but its original (completely overhauled) engine and tranny is lying with me ...with original drive shaft too.as I told earlier...

I am really sorry to respond SO LATE in this thread ......I did not know that there are so many posts there unanswered and for such a long time .......my BAD...
After completion....This spitfire has taken part into a couple of classic cars GTG/car shows and few classic cars Rallies/drives.......
Pics of these events are on pakwheels....I will look for the links and will share with you brothers here shortly.....
A lot of pics of this restoration project are still there to come ....which I will be doing too in near future....
Actually I started few traveling threads and they took most of the time....again my bad...:(....
But now I will post remaining pics of this project which I think you will find very interesting....
The original/specimen spitfire (red one) is also waiting for attention.....all the parts(in detail) are imported from UK and are lying with me .....
will be starting that car soon too to make them a "PAIR"...
every thing will be shared for your viewing pleasure INSHALLAH...
