Put the flush cleaner in the engine while the oil is in the engine and then idle ur car for 15 minutes than drain the oil, put new oil & u r good to go!

Hi friends
I have Vitz 1000 CC 2006 model new shape.
my car was giving problem it goes for around 2 to 4 km and then it starts sinking. alot of noise is generated and no throughput from the engine the max speed i can reach is 75 - 80. Yesterday I showed the car at Zamzama Murtaza Motors (Tahir Mechanic) who I feel is one of the best. previously he repaired my Gear box as well for only 15K where others were asking 50 to 60 K.

Now yesterday i showed the car to him and he checked everything and said that there is alot of carbon deposits (Oil kheechar) inside and we need to open the engine and clean it thoroughly and asking 18 to 20 K for the job (including seals - mini overhall) + the parts if any required.

please recommend if i can go and use any engine cleaners / carbon deposits remover available in the market to clean the crank form inside without going through all the hassle.

please help me out here

bro i have 95 indus corolla and its driven above 150,000 km so suggest me that do i flush my engine or not

hi Amir,,,,,yar i am sorry i didnt get the way of using this cleaner,,,,,,,,do i have to first drain the oil from engine and then put this cleaner and start the car and then drain the cleaner OR I have to add this cleaner into the oil that is in the engine currently and then drain the mixture after 15 min on idle ?

bro u have to pour the engine flush into ur old oil and let the car running for 10-15 mins! leave the car running idle! after that switch off the engine and drain the old oil and pour in the new fresh oil!

if u have engine sludge inside ur engine if u use an engine flush all those deposits will become loose and they might float here and there blocking oil passages of ur engine hence starving ur car of oil which may lead to ur engine seizing!

mbkhan - please flush the engine as OP amirq have done. there is no harm in doing it before you plan to get skinned by your Ustaad.

doubts ? for what - ? what is bad in taking your chance of flushing the engine and using fresh oil. Replace oil filter as well and drive in routine if you feel the difference in performance ... come to forum with plenty of donuts for everyone of us goto Caltex service station at Lucky star signal at 9.30 in morning get service done without engine wash and without oil spray on under carriage. the dark short guy with moustache name is Liaquat be nice and ask him to flush the engine & change oil & oil filter. Take your very own choice of oils.

Nah , this doesnt clean anything , the carbon deposits are mostly on top of the pistons and oil cant go there because of the rings. So all the oil drained is just regular used oil.

ul find it anywhere...makro(site wala)khan motors etc...its made out of jet fuel!its very ez 2 use jus open ur tank n pour the bottle inside story finish!n den let it do its job!

Thanks Aamirq for the valueable feedback, i just need to know one thing. i am using ZIC blue Jar and using it for 3k running only. regarding the usage of this engine flush, i have recently changed the engine oil at the running of 90,000 ODO, now before the next engine oil change i have to put this engine flush in my car engine keeping the existing oil engine oil within the engine, keep the engine running for 15 mins then have to flush out the engine oil?

is it the correct procedure?

also i am using City 07. it this procedure safe for computerized engines?

DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AFTER U HAVE POURED THE ENGINE FLUSH YA WARNA ENGINE KI BAND BAJ JAI GI!! after u pour it just let the car idle for 15 mins and then switch off the engine and drain the old oil and pour in the fresh new oil!

yar abt gear oil since that ur car aint auto u can change it at 1 lack km since gear oil of manual cars itna ganda nae hota compared to auto tranny gear oil! bcoz auto tranny gear oil has 2 functions aik toh it keeps the parts lubricated secondly it even acts as a coolant to keep ur transmission cool n doesnt let it over heat hence auto cars ka gear oil should be changed after every 40,000km! since ur car has alread done 90k drive it 10k more and then change the gear oil,the brake oil,coolant,timing belt at 1 lack km! and check the other belts for cracks or for an other signs of wear and tear!
