No offence meant to any management or what so ever... or maybe yeah even if they wanna get offended they're welcome.. but the show sucked big time.... i went all the way from lahore to see that show with my friends, and there were no directions on how to get there, where this was and stuff... once we got there, it was a mess... the early entrants paid the fee and those who entered timely.. just before the races start paid no entrance fee.... either you charge everyone or you don't charge at all... :-s

show was lame, 400cc bike vs. 400cc bike.. if i wanted to see that, then i didn't have to travel all the way to islamabad, and stand in a dust storm. i could've seen that any given sunday on hot spot lahore, or just watching n/a civics drag..... :s

wasn't worth it at allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll..... after the last two motor show experiences, the one on the sunday before last, in lahore on walton airport, topgear by amir malik and this Rev it up in islamabad, i dont think i'll every be visiting any motor show in pak. :-s

i have only seen two good motor show events in pak so far, one was that top gear show in lahore in 2004 on walton airdome, and second this tdcp motor show in lahore again the same venue. rest were all crap.

thatssss just my opinion and frustration.

i totally agree with u. actually there was some inside politics at the time of car races.
besides, v gave everyone a SAFE platform. all those who keep revving their cars on the streets, v introduced them to a track. now if someone doesnt wanna come, v cant force him.
v invited everyone, LAHORE,FAISALABAD,PESHAWAR etc...
but many of them dint show up.
But oh my dear friend, not to worry. we will make it up to u and other citizens in near future.

that guy is an experience and have alot of mony to spent...

where in this case of REVITUP....it was all from students...who worked hard to atleast GET NOC

Fellows, a lot of criticism has been made.... many points may be valid, but in my opinion it was a gr8 effort, pulled a lot of crowd.

Criticism shall be taken positevely and in the same time organizers shall be given appreciation, atleast they had come-up with smthng for whch Isb/Rwp ppl were waiting since long.

I wish that future events are more well-organized and planned.

@all.. Its very easy fer us to sit on our butts in front of our Pcz and 'CRiticize' .& not so easy to organize a race event fer so many spectators... Cut them a slack guys !. I think we shud appreciate the efforts made by organizers.. this was jus the start of somthing which ISB members were starving for ! we will see many improvements in the future !!! hope so...

People are quick to critisize. They just see one side of the coin.

It goes to the organizers:

You people really did a great job. Organizing and managing an event at such a level, with no major support, is really a task that needs appreciation. You people did your best. It was an event, first of its kind in rwp/isb. The setbacks this event saw wasn't because of your negligence or something, but it was due to the crowd themselves. A simple request of staying behind those safety boundaries, or whatever should have been enough to keep audience from coming near the strip, but people weren't even listening to the constant requests by the safety people. Great events are pulled off if people cooperate. Instead of cooperating, they were adding to the difficulties. Pakistanis need some education. Besides, the ticket of Rs.200 was clearly mentioned by the organizers. People must have paid it whatsoever. This is where the honesty kicks in; there must be no need to check the tickets.

I agree to the posters that the event did not match the events in Lahore/Karachi. The fact is, organizers in Lhr/Khi are quite experienced, whereas, this one was first of its kind to be organized in Isb. Anyways, it was a great effort. We really enjoyed the event. I was dismayed at the sudden end, and I still don't know what actually happened. Please, organize more of such events. And I urge the audience to please cooperate the next time such an event is organized. Good Luck for the future endeavours

thz alot guys....for yr support...we all know there were some points which need improvement...and agree with that

plus cuz of that issue which made show to end....we had lots of friends with cars from peshawar...who had to return after that....they were spposed to come after 8

1 more thing

those cars like LALA k20 who paid for the event..but he didt came in for any run cuz of that issue

we have refunded him

but guys who made the runs...they havent yet paid

we did what ppl wanted...but when it came to thier side...they backed off
