pressure difference? - the airbox is at atmospheric pressure.

The air coming from the front pipe would have more pressure which sensor measures when the air will leak from the box , the sensor reading would not match with other sensor reading maybe MAF reads it. So, a check lamp will illuminate

your car is not ram air induction that there would be a large positive pressure differential in the airbox. If your case was true then your car should illuminate the check light even if you simply remove the air filter and close the box.

I could not understand - what other sensor is looking for airflow at the same time?

Yes it did when i removed it when car was start.
I just opened it , engine sound changed the next seconds i installed it back and check lamp appeared which said ?engine service? or something like that.

went to them for AC service 2 times this shop is known to many in city work is good but they always leave out small things they sometimes forget to change seals in AC system or some times clog up the water drain from the dash
besides that recharge gas this shop uses is the best and pro guys work
rate is a bit high but for quality work one knows that

Need a workshop recommendation+where to buy parts in Lahore.

Car: Vitz
Work to be done: CVT oil change (with inner sump cleaning & seal replacement+spark plug change+serpentine belt change+cabin air filter change

Also where to buy the stuff from?

Preferably CMH-Lahore/DHA Y-block area, but any place as long as they know how to do the job properly without taking shortcuts.

He is a pro at his work and this was the only guy I found in lahore that had solved the issue of rpm drop on my civic on CNG..apparently he is the only one that has the solution to rpm drop issues.
My civic never had rpm drop issues after that..good or bad throttle body,come what may.

its pretty easy for a person like you.

yes, you just need basic tools, only issue is to raise the car or a ramp to get under.

ratchet set to undo bolts, an oil pump to pump new oil in, a tube of sealant. i think that was all.

I got the cvt oil change done the way you mention, it was from makki oil store akbar chowk.

Go to suntech. It's being 7up factory. I got my beltas oil charged from them. Following complete sump removal procedure. The work done was acceptable

Unfortunately had an accident on a re d wine 2014 gli. luckily no one get injured except the car. Visited almost 5 shops to get the estimates. Toyota walton, Very famous Javed Workshop, International Motors, and few more i forget their names. Toyota walton give us the estimate of 207k including 35k labour. Javed himself give an estimate of 35k labour saying i cant give the estimate for parts until or unless i will open the front and see what are the damages beneath. International motors which is quite near to javed work shop has given an estimate for 140k. We requested for all parts to be replaced and should be genuine. Lets see how it comes out to be.
