Someone please tell me which is the best choice, Revo 80 or Revo 105 (I mean 800cc or 1050 cc model)
Please also tell whether it is possible to replace the Steering wheel of Revo with new one say momo etc. and also is it possible to tilt the steering wheel ?
I am ready to sell my Cuore for Revo, what you people suggest about my decision?

i think you should visit the revo motors before selling your old car. Me and my friend visited the car in last month and we are also going to book the 105+i but after visiting and checking we found that the car needs to have some more modifications interms of finishing, paint job, the rubber lining and this process may takes time. the steering is quite high as compared to other cars in the same class.
most people complained that the dash board isnt good, i rather disagree, that fine, one minor mistake is that the screws are open and can be seen on the outer rim o fthe speedometer.
the revo 1051cc will be providing more power as compared to 796cc engine. the car itself is bigger so if you are going to buy it, my opinon is to go for 1000 cc.
again i will recommend that please pay a visit to Revo motors in your locality and check the car before going for booking.

Dear Club members. The finishing of the car has been improved quiet a lot. There are no problems now with the paint and rubber linning. Display vehicles at Adam Walton are going to be changed in about week's time, so you can check it yourself. Company is adjusting the hight of the steering and it would be resolved in a week or two. The issue of screws of the outer rim of speedometer is also noted and the company is resolving that too.
So my dear brothers we are dealing with all the issues one by one. Our first priority was to fix all the problems of the body and now we are coming towards the interior. You guys would be happy to know that soon the steering and the side mirrors are changining.
Adam Motors is working day and night to make this car best in the world. Please have faith in us and support us. Let me assure you that you won't have any regrets in buying this car.

Well I wanted to know Adam motors plan to come to Islamabad and also who will provide after market services for Revo in Islamabad. Where will the revo owners get spare parts from not only in Islamabad but the whole of Pakistan? Is Adam motors planning to set up workshops in the country and have they started the distribution of spare parts if not what are their plans regarding the spare parts sales in the country.

I was also wondering whether Adam motors is planning to make some ‘variations’ in the models of Revo e.g. Making a revo racing type, Luxury model, Economy model etc. I personally think that revo should have a racing model which can beat the usual cars on the road. It should have a 1300cc Vtec engine along with a turbo charger also a slick manifold and super flow exhaust. The it should have ultra light fly wheel with up rated clutch and gearbox. Also it should have a modified camshaft with perfect duplex timing. The valves should be large to allow free movement of air. All this would add up to be a supercharged engine with ultra low fuel consumption. Now that would be cool. This would beat any stock civic and altis. Well the wonderful thing would be that super revo would be stock itself and all the mods would be company fitted. As for the price it should not be much as all the extras would me paki and the manufacturers should themselves keep the price low to prevent any sales hindrances. Ohh boy ! Honda will go down down down into the ground……LOL. Well that was a piece of my mind thank god I let it out but don’t think it’s a joke caz I would do this if I were the owner of Adam co.

@blindmanwatching, you have a good suggestion about different models of Revo.

The Market can be researched about this. i.e. Survey the people and what they want in this car, specially those that visit the company showroom. This is how they do it in other countries, survey the "interested buyers" and what they would want in the car in future. This is a good marketing strategy and it works. Website such as this also can provide valuable input as were issues pointed out by auto799, like screws being seen. Fit and finish of car, like location of vents, size of steering wheel, steering height adjustment lever, can be added with very little cost, BUT they add alot of value to the car. As a person can be BIG and has difficulty in his current car and wants a car that can accomodate him/her easily bodywise and not be too expensive.

I was having a discussion with one of my American coworkers here in US about REVO, and she liked the Design of the car and would like to own it, specially for this price of $4300 but she was concerned about the size as most Americans very Heavy Weight and drive big cars, I told her don't worry this car is not for American intended for American market yet. But who knows one day a bigger version of REVO may be offered for American Market.

For now, we need to support this car and other models of Adam Motors as well. That Jeep Bolero looks nice and rugged and also their Pick UPs offer good value, they are much bigger than the available Suzuki Pick UPs and price is also right.

I know this is about REVO Fan Club, but how about Adam Motors other proucts. I am posting here, since Adam Motor's representative, Atif Bhai, also has a chance to read this post.

I was just thinking, how about Adam Motors converting its Pick UPs and add another Model in its line up for a Mini Van. Its not too wild of an idea. Just like Suzuki Bolan, that van is built on same body as the Suzuki Pick Up.

So, Adam is already assembling a Pick Up and a Van body can be added, nicely designed by Adam Motors, with High Roof like Bolan, and would be much bigger than Bolan high roof. For the price range of 6 Lakh. Since their pick up is 5 Lakh an body with 50thousand expense or 1 lakh expense, can be a good idea.

Current Pick Up that can be converted into a mini van.

There are some good graphic artists here, they can use computer skill and add a van body to this.

This VAN can compete again Toyota Hiace, for commercial purposes, since there is alot of shortage of Vans and buses in the country of 150 Million People. You can see people riding on the top of Buses.

Or you can also sell this to people with Large families. Pakistan's average family size is Husband, Wife and 5 or 6 kids. So this Van can also be good for households, with 8 to 12 Seating capacity or more.

Revo with killer European looks

This is why I think Revo has European looks.

Compare the Back end of it. There is alot of space between lift gate and the rear door, unlike Mehran, the typical Cramped up Korean or Japanese styling.

Euro cars look bigger even in their small models like this Volkwagen Golf. This is this uncanny resemblence in the Lifted UP backside of the VW Golf, and REVO's spacious and lifted up Back End.

Plus the white turning lamps of REVO are also known as EUROLIGHTS.

Now lets look at Mehran and Revo, backside. Both have alot of difference. Revo looks upto date, modern and European looking. While mehran is just OLD...
and out of style.

So, if anyone is thinking of buying a Mehran... Choice is yours..

Go for Revo, you will live happily ever after. If your mistakenly just bought a mehran, sell it as fast as possible before its value will go down and buy a Revo instead. You will never regret buying a Revo.

Mehran owner, or would be owners.. think about it... Sell your mehrans if you own them now and place an order for a Brand New Revo for much less than a mehran.

Revo is a better car all around. It was tested by Adam Motors and independent engineers for 40,000km all across Pakistan before it was released to public. The car had no problems other than normal wear.

My friend, the mechanic did not put the car to any test, he just did not find anything wrong with the suspension and shocks, and was satisfied with the overall assembly.
We have yet to put the car on a rigorous test.

You should choose the 1050 cc.
Yes, you can change the steering wheel, but I think you cannot tilt it.
As regards your decision to switch your Cuore, go for it, dude! The Revo is bigger, safer, and the 105is compares with a Cultus in terms of value added features.
But, the question mark is the reliability of the engine, suspension, assemblies, fittings etc., this directly affects the resale value of the car.
The good news is that Adam is listening and making improvements as we move along, they are providing quality after sales service, and I hear that they will soon manufacture the engine in Pakistan.
So I wouldn't worry too much.

I will post in detail about 'what has gone wrong' after the car completes its 1000kms.

hold your horses blindmanwathching, let the Revo grow up before you put it on a high protien and energy diet.

personally i think that the Revo 105iS should be more well equipped. This car costs 419,000 and it does not have any noticeable luxury feature, whereas the "chooza" QQ after paying 50% duty costs 489,000 and has every noticeable luxury feature a car can have.
Putting power windows and power steering dont cost all that much and definetly enhance the appeal of the car.
I hope AMC will look into this matter as customers are easiy impressed by such small additions.
Although these things are of little importance compared to the major problems being addressed these things must be kept in mind as more and more Chinese rivals are arriving on the horizon not to forget the yet to be launched 800cc Suzuki Alto.

AMC is constructing an engine assembly plant near its autombile assembly plant in Karachi. Also, AMC has signed a deal with Millat Equipments Limited (Millat Tractors Limited) to manufacture the transmission (gearbox) of the Revo in Pakistan.
About reliability , well the engines being used in the Revo have been approved by GMC (General Motors Corp) of USA ,The largest automotive company of the world.
