@belligerant Bhai,
about the turtle thing, I just felt like posting it.....
LoL, but seriously, it does have some relevance here, it has a tough outer shell, just like REVO.
@Rocketman Bhai,
Funny way of describing mehran as a motorbike with large helmet welded on, very true.. I think it is truly two motorcycles welded together side by side with a very thin sheetmetal wrapped around it.
About Pajero Mini.
It depends on alot of things, on its face value, it really should not be priced as much, but considering the market in Pakistan, where even a tiny CUORE, or Santro can pull 5 Lakh or above price for even slightly used ones. Mini Pajero seems like a bargain compared to those cars.
But I personally think, it is still over priced. In International markets (UK, US, Japan, Saudi, etc), you can get the BIG one REAL Pajero, Turbo Sport Wagon, Model Year 2000 for around 3 to 4 Lakh Pakistani Rs (roughly about $6,000 to $7,000). But considering the things in Pakistan, even this Mini Pajero should be priced a bit less, considering that it is 8 years old, with many miles on it already.
If I were to compare the Imports, I think the Toyota Vitz, fully automatic with powerwindows, automatic transmission, etc. is a much better bargain at around 6 Lakh, than a Mini Pajero with about 5.5 Lakh price tag. You get alot better car, if you buy vitz, with just 50 thousand more.
Even Vitz is pricey, compared to International Market (where is it is worth HALF as much about 3 Lakh Pak Rs.), but for Pakistani Market price (where every car is selling at TWICE as much as the rest of the world), it is definately a bargain at 6 Lakh.
The Toyota Vitz can last another 10 years or so without any problems, even if it is already 8 or 10 years old, thats a well understood fact about any toyota, around the world. But the same thing can NOT be said about Mitsubishi with confidence, although they make good SUVs, but there cars have not gotten much attention anywhere in the world for reliability like Toyota or Honda.
