your bike is looking very good now. there is no effect of the bigger tyre. its new thats why you are feeling it. and keep the pressure max 40 in the rear tyre. dont believe on the puncture walas who say that keep 60 psi in this tyre as it is a big one :D.

congratulations bro for purchasing an awesome looking tyre for your bike. Happy Ridding!

The decrease in acceleration that you have experienced is a direct result of the tyre. Bigger tyre also increased the overall circumference of the tyre which in turn changed the gearing ratio. The result should be lower acceleration that can possibly affect your engine's life/gearbox.

To get the same ratio back, you need to put in a larger rear sprocket. The correct number of teeth can be calculated using gearing ratio calculators available online. If I were to guestimate, i would say go with 45T whereas Stock is 43T.

On the first page I posted a picture of my bike. I had my doubts in my tyre that there was no circumferential groove in the middle. What even increased my doubts was that even the tyre bought By OP had a groove and also the image in the Dsi website too.
So i emailed Dsi.
Here is the email I sent.
Dear sir/madam,

Recently I bought DSI tyre for my bike Suzuki Gs150.I purchased the tyre from a shop in Karachi,Pakistan.Size of tyre was 100/90-18.My query is that the tyre which I bought has no circumferential groove in the middle.I have checked the same tyre on DSI TYRE website and there appears to be a groove in the middle.

For reference I am posting a link of my tyre.

Kindly,let me know if the tyre I have purchased is original or not.

Dear Brothers,

I am facing engine knocking issue while accelerating the bike. It is there since the beginning but now i am feeling it more as I am free from the engine brake period restriction.
This sound can be heard from engine when we twist accelerator more.

Experiencing the same issue I think. Like at 40 when I accelerate it doesn't accelerate smoothly. Maybe mixture needs to be adjusted.

Mechanic told me the coil under the fuel tank has to be replaced. It leaves current so that if why bike doesn't run smoothly. Since my bike is in warranty and I hope your's is too I will get I claimed in warranty tomorrow.
