I did the same traveling a couple of months back. We were 3 drivers but got bored of such a long journey.
I have some questions :

1- Why did you used Multan - Jhang - Pindi Bhattian route ? not Multan - Lahore - Pindi ?
2- Is this route shorter or better or some other reason ?
3- How much time it took from Multan to Kallar Kahar through this route?

We wanted to skip Lahore route but had no idea of alternate route, therefore, avoid to take the risk.

This route is shorter then lahore and Roads are now in good condition i think

Regarding your questions:

1- Why did you used Multan - Jhang - Pindi Bhattian route ? not Multan - Lahore - Pindi ?
If you use Multan - Jhang - Pindi Bhattian route, the distance is 321 Kms and if you go by lahore means Multan - Lahore - Pindi bhattiyan the distance is 454 Kms so you have to travel 133 kms (to be precise) less.

2- Is this route shorter or better or some other reason ?
Obviously this route is shorter + new road+daewoo (Multan - Islamabad) use the same route.

3- How much time it took from Multan to Kallar Kahar through this route?
Multan - Pindi bhattiyan 4 to 4.5 hours and Multan to Islamabad 6.5 to 7 hours
