Initially our plan was to stay at Sukkur. But we reached Sukkur around magrib so we decided to go direct Karachi. We traveled at night in Sindh, yes small vehicles was very less but overall it was good experience to travel in Sindh at night.
Lahore to Karachi: Total time 18 hours, Alhamdulillah we reached around 2 AM.

if you took E5, you could have stayed Khanewal and didnt need to travel back to Multan.. in July i stayed in hotel which is on main N5 and its name is UK Baba.. i actually stopped here for Dinner but later found that they also have 3 rooms and I took one of them at 3500 per night with AC.

Salaam Bhai, Can you suggest a good hotel to stay one night with my family in Bahawalpur? I'm going from Karachi to Islamabad on 22nd Dec. 2018 so planing to stay one night at Bahawalpur. Around 3 to 3.5 thousand, neat and clean?
i think i stayed in Pak Continental Hotel which is located inside the city and travel time from main national highway to hotel was probably 15-20min max.. you can find several hotels options in Bahawalpu City. there are also couple of hotels located on main National Highway named Humera and Dream Inn and i found them just average.. they had just one or two rooms which were just okay for family and for overnight stay only..
