In the afternoon headed off to Lhr. Motorway again but this time were maintaining speed of 110km, friends were like no need to rush as it was 9th Muharram and many places were closed.

10th Muharram headed to Raiwand and back to Lhr. stayed at Smart Hotel in Liberty Mkt. Had Hardees

Lahore is filled with Honda's

Smart Hotel was rs. 5,000

We had long journey ahead from Lhr to Khi, we thought of stopping at Sukker but didnt like hotels like Mehran & Red Carpet, just packed KFC burgers and headed directly.

TIP: Do not stop at Dhabas for food instead stop at restaurants with petrol stations, proper hygienic available. Dhabas are only good for Tea breaks.

It took us 22 hrs to reach Khi from Lhr, wasted 2 hrs in Sukkur in search of hotels.

White Palace (Murkuzar, Swat)

Missed Murree from motorway and headed towards Muzaffarabad, 11km mkt came and person guided us properly

Yep, trip was fun alhamdu lillah.

Road is good upto Mingora, then offroading begins & is it not advisable for taking own car over there, rather rent a car, driver was provided by the rental agency.

Always carry original CNIC for checkpoints.

Everything is dried up (water, tree's) because of offseason, not a good time visiting with family.

Night life is non-existent.

Do not enter Bhawalpur city, it comes on the bypass of satluj river, there are only 2 buildings, one is Satluj Inn & the other is some 5 storey hotel.

Satluj Inn was better in terms of room quality and washroom.

Sorry did not collect any contact details while leaving checking out from Satluj Inn.

Jazak Allah, going by road is fun than flying, you get to see alot.
Can't resist going back again! For motorheads like me, Motorway has been the best experience.
