great trip, but personally i think its a terrible terrible thing to take ur car ahead of muzaffarabad to Neelum valley. its criminal actually. ideal is to hire a jeep and take it on these poor poor roads. i m serving in this region and know each and every location in depth, and wud never take my car there. i highly advise against it

@ waleed The road up to keran is not bad and even till dowarian it is bearable but after dowarian it is worst. But not taking the cars is not solution bcz the tourist travel in limited budget and with a variable kind of luggage that remains safe in one vehicle instead of transferring it into different vehicles................................................................... And road problem is not found in Kashmir only but also in the whole northeren area except some areas. Our govt do not understand the potential of tourism in our country and is not ready to build the infrastructure for tourism. The worst condition of KKH is an example of it which a gateway to upper north in gilgit baltistan.
