Rolls royce cars in pakistan

Bad news....more precious foreign xchange flying out of the country. The trade deficit is through the roof and we just cant stop quinching our thrist for luxury cars. I suggest we increase the duties on luxury cars back to 200% and reduce them to a minimum 10-15% on cars smaller than 1300CC. A common man should be able to a buy car at a lowest possible premium rather than the ultra rich to whom price is just a number.
anyways...thats just one man's opinion....fire away!!

I understand ur sentimentsbut at the same time Wealth should be encouraged in Pakistan so that ppl can enjoy their money, this will ensure that people have a thirst to succeed in pakistan, otherwise there will be little incentive to create real wealth over the long run.

Well the Reality is , the people who Buy These usually travel on Silky Smooth Roads, meaning not That Typical Karachi Road Terrain BUT a Type on Which Rolls are Meant to be Driven, THUS ensuring their Long Lastingness.

RR has limited market hee in PAK.
why is the goverment allowing import.
ab nahi DOLLAR BAHIR JATAY KIA.
people know what luxury is just reduce the tax and dutie on those accords,camrys,cadiallacs,audis.
they have been forced to keeeeeeep these civis and roola.by the same people who will buy these RR,s.

@hhl.."enjoy these cars in Pakistan" if u mean enjoy these cars by driving them, then I think u have no idea what it means to enjoy a car. Pakistan does not have roads to enjoy these kinda cars. And people u are buying them are just trying to satisfy their inflated ego's. Regarding ur statement "wealth should be encaouraed", i totally agree but wasteful use of it should be discouraged. We have banned serving of meals on weddings but have allowed import of million dollar cars. PERFECT. This should definately help the problems of our country. A country like pakistan has to become self-sufficient first before its people can indulge in luxuries and waste precious resouces of beloved land. Finally, people who can afford a RR, can keep one in England or US, where its much cheaper and they can really enjoy driving it there as well.

obz3ed is absolutely rite ameroon ke garian sasti ho rahe hain aur gareebo ke mehngi we people can just see these cars but cannot buy them as you can see these local cars are getting expensive day by day while these luxury cars are getting cheaper government is doing nothing for the poor as the majority cannot afford these super luxury cars these lower duties are just for a handful of rich people as we people will still have to use the third class local cars simply ham sirf in cars ko dekh kai khush ho sakte hain and nothing else so there is no point of being happy cause most of us cannot afford such an expensive car if the government wants to benifit the poor then they will have to reduce duties on small cars not these luxury cars who the govenment officials can afford and no one else.
