Using the same Ipod with my Hu ... One nice budget Ipod I must say ...
Besides all this ,The top quality Wolfson DAC is outclass feature in it ... But it doesn't bother you in the build

Ipod 30 Gb for Media Playback. The Apple's DAC is bypassed and digital content is transfered via ipods own cable connected with the Head unit.

1) at what price uve got that ipod and is it 2nd generation or 3rd ?
2) does it also have capability to charge that ipod via dvd ?
3) does this player provide support for sygic maps i mean can we use GPS maps on it ? (A)

1)Its Ipod 5th generation Classic ....
2)Yeah ,If your Hu is Ipod Compatible ,it will copy its UI in display and charge it till it remains syncronized with HU !

how much does it cost?

It is used with some scratches. I bought it for 3k. I wasn't bothered about scratches because it eventually ended up in gloves box.

When I had iphone, it was connected to avh 8450bt via apple's Cd iu 201s cable for app mode. But I haven't tried it with Ipod yet

Brother one confusion. I got the Iphone 5 S and is the cable you are mentioning the lightning to USB cable or is it some other cable?

i.e. I was wondering if I were to connect the 5S to the P99 would the music play or do I have to get the cable mentioned above in your post if it is different to the lightning to USB cable?

Iu 201s for iphone 4 was for appmode for dvd units. For 5s u need to upgrade to the new firmware which has iphone 5/5s support for appmode. But since yours in 1din, you will be able to use the simple lightening cable for digital playback. But I think firmware update is mandatory to support 5s.

EDIT: Just checked in friends car, the lightening cable works fine without any update.

CD iv202 is a VGA cable, with normal apple lightening cable you can play digital media from iphone 5 to 1dins/ 2dins.
But for app mode which is for 2dins, you need to have 201s cable which worked with iphone 4but for iphone5/ 5s you need to get the HDMI cable along with lightening adopter.

Thanks brother...I will give it a go today or tomorrow....still trying to find time to play around with the 5S and trying to decide which is better my HTC or the Iphone...Android or IOS7.........I think so far I0S 7 shades it but only fractionally....

I was a die hard fan of ios but upon shahid bhai's advice I bought S4. I had none love for androids but after using S4 I can simply say "outstanding"

You can get best results by using Dynamat/ Lanbo/ Peel & Seal.
Try it and you will feel the difference instantly, as you have mehran, you should do this to whole car, it will be cost effective as well

S4 was a disappointment for me due to its camera and gallery lag issues. Note series is much much superior to S in terms of smoothness, battery and reception. For me at this point Note 3 is THE BEST Android handset in market.

• Sorry for being off the topic. I am actually looking forward to buy a tablet. I am two tablets in my range. Number one; Samsung Galaxy Tablet 3.7.0 t211. Number two; Google Nexus 7 (2013). I am certainly not able to use my mobile as it have got signal problems I.e it does not catch signals. Korean mobile (Sky Vega a830l). So, Samsung Galaxy tablet would do me good as it have got GSM option unlike Google Nexus 7 (2/2013). Although Google Nexus 7 has much better features like it's quad core plus having 5MP camera unlike Samsung Galaxy tablet. So, what do you guys suggest?

Plus, if anyone knows how to get a custom rom done on Sky Vega a830l then do let me know, please. I tried everything but at the end I just got my cell phone bricked. None of the shopkeeper helps me in this regard. Got cell phone in working condition but now it does not have any CWM recovery. Quite headache.

I havent tried Note 3 yet, but no doubt about the class. I do have a Note 2, used it for couple of days and ended up in the hands of younger one. One can't simply make a call while driving.
Secondly the lag issues are because of mem card. Use one of good quality and format it first in windows. I don't have any issues in gallery and with cam.
