Royal Shield car paint protection, any opinions?

Hi all

Yes it is one year since I got the sealant. Have not polished the car since then. Shine is still there. Will post pictures later today. Royal Shield is no more in Islamabad. You can get it in Karachi and Lahore only.

Here are the pictures of my ride after over one year of royal shield treatment. I just took these pictures (the first two) other shots are from Sunday night. The car was not cleaned/wiped/washed/polished during the past 24 hours.

For the last one year, I have not got my ride waxed or polished.

I got my Cuore (moonlight silver) shielded royally today.

Very professional guys and know what they are doing. Its not the usual teenage kids buffing with worn out towels.

Lets hope it works as good as it worked for @autophile. I asked about Islamabad and the guy said the response was not good enough.

Now the challenge is to keep the car away from water and dew for 48 hours. Then he says a wipe of damp cloth and a weekly mild shampoo wash will be enough.

I'll post pics next week, right now I can not tell if it is something special or just WAX. :o

@tazzix. congrats borther. Forget polishing, waxing from now own. Cleaning is very easy, but never use a dry duster, however, before a damp wipe, you can remove dust by tossing the dry duster/cloth.

Since Karachi is headoffice of Royashile, they must have done it professionally, while gus in Pindi did not have polish machines and did it manually, but still it is giving me satisfactory results.

Since you have a cuore, they must have charged 3000 or less from you. Did you take pix when the process was on. Unfortunately I could not take pix.

@autophile unfortunately every ATM on my way was out of order so I had to rush out to get some cash after reaching there, then I received a call to email some files. So rushed back to office, the guy over there arranged a driver to drop me. Then it was time for Zuhr and then I got a call from them that it is done, some thing less than 2 hours go by quickly if you have to do so many things. So no pictures of the process, but they had those electrical buffers.

I dont worry too much about it because there is a 3 year warranty so there is no reason they would try any hanky panky, they'll end up doing it for free again and earn a bad reputation, in that case.

They charged me 3100 as someone mentioned earlier in this thread.

He explained me maintenance procedures, and the back side of the invoice also has a printed reminder

BTW I am planning to move to Islamabad in the next few months, probably will use your help regarding toyota service centers, etc. I'll be there sometime next week to take care of more important issues

Well good for you, the warranty thing. Guys in Pindi also said this, but they disappeared next month from the scene promising an invoice would be mailed from their Karachi office, but it never happened.

So I am without warranty. Also the guys here promised that if the car needed touch up after some minor accident, they would do that patch for free, now that chance has also gone.

i am trying to get it done for my cultus from last one month after the guiding, and prompt reply from Autophile about his experience of royal shield,and i am very thankful for him, but when ever i call royal shield at lahore office their watch man said that the polish is out of stock and i have to wait, let see when i shall have it, will let you people know about my experiece, when done.

The same thing has been happening to me. When i called last time the watchman said that their owner had a serious car accident while he has bringing those polishes and that he wont be back till first week of october.
I have to get my Chevy Exclusive done. May be we can plan to go their together. This is my contact number :

my uncle is aeronautical engineer and he told me that this material is also used to keep the aircraft paint away from rusting and and fading.
so i think this formula should be good for wheels as well.

I will definitely get it done on my black Altis, which I am going to buy very soon. Currently I have a white XLI of previous year and think it wouldn't be wise to have it shielded, cause I will have to sell it any way.

@Autophile, I noticed that your rear lights seems strange, looks like they are faded or seems like they have been cleaned by a strong fluid like petrol, which removed the original linings of the lights, plz check the following, is this the result of Royal Shield Treatment?

Sherdil it must have been due to lighting effect. and im 100% sure paintshield is definately NOT applied on lights LOL.
