Well leme share my recent experience with u...
It was Eid day and after seeing some relatives we(family) were coming back from Shad bagh (Lhr) and the traffic was v.v.badly jammed, our car also had sum problem and it was heating up in the traffic jam, so i was tensed, mom was with me too and she cant sit too long, or travel at long distances, having dat in mind i was really pissed off...
Aftr crawling for a lot of time in that jam we happened to reach the crossing which was the reason of all problem and there was a traffic warden manually trying to control it, and the situation was totally a mess and outta control!
Jus as our car reached he stopped the traffic and stood in fronta our car nt to let us pass, i got furious and pissed off! Crawling for so long in traffic and these morons are doing nthing ebt it! Such a pathetic control!
I got out and shouted and bistified dat warden a gud deal...
He remained calm and respectful.. and explained me to be patient.
(though law n order was an epic fail, a total mess and mayhem)
But as soon as i we went thru afta a while, i started regretting it...
It was Eid day man.... dat man was there away from his family for us!
Doing his duty for us... and i cudnt do anything to undo my act... I was ashamed of my act and regretted it too...
I wud have sorry-ed him if we wud still hav been there...
So there r gud and bad ppl both in society, i regret yelling at him... he was widout any support and backup trying to do his duty and even dat on Eid day! The only festival we have... and i must have broken his heart further!
I regret tht, May God forgive my act and give tht guy courage to continue his work with devotion despite all the odds...
I wudnt have been furious if my mum wudnt hav been with me.. many factors contributed for my anger.
I respect all the law enforcers, army men, rangers, air force and navy ppl, Police and all other ppl serving this country devotedly & rightfully... I salute em.
We shud be respectful towards these guys too, our attitudes are also v.bad towards them... We dont even say Eid mubarik or embrace these police officers standing outside the mosques when we say our Eid prayers... We just complain! We are un just ourselves and then we expect them to be just!
They are like us, and from within us... no use blaming govt. We shud look inside our own selves at first.
MAY GOD HELP US TO BE GOOD HUMANS AT FIRST, AND LATER GOOD MUSLIMS TOO!
