Running LED TVs on UPS? Experinces and Advise?

We all know there are risks to run LED TV on UPS. However, can we reduce them and what methods have others used to run them?

Huh? been running Samsung LED 32" 4000 series on Desi ups and China generator for more than a year.
Only problem i had on UPS was my laptop- The charger used to get fried, electrician charged 250 rupees and installed a bigger capacitor. Problem solved! And here is proof on how long I've been using the TV.

Twice i have burned the supply unit of my LCD 40" Samsung.

By the way, i am running my Samsung LED on a Chinese Generator (without AVR), even the current is not stable, nothing happens to the TV, if the output current is high, the TV automatically gets off by itself.

I got a 40 inch Samsung LED TV running on a local made UPS, Along with my PTCL router and PTCL Smart TV.

One important thing I did was before using it. I asked the UPS guy to make sure the Output Voltage of the UPS do not exceed 240. In a normal practise all these Local UPS Output is set to around 290+ mine was actually set to 300. I pushed the ups guy to change it and bring it down to 240 Max and used my own meter to verify his claim
