It was a wonderful experience and especially kids enjoyed a lot. Thanks to our hosts for spending time with us.

The Lahore zoo is far better if compared to Karachi zoo. If visiting Lahore with kids, Lahore zoo is a must venue to be visited. You may spend three~six hours there-- depending on your interest with zoology.

The remaining day was spent visiting some friends and relatives-- and dinner at Pizza Hut Lahore. Thank you very much to our hosts.

Day Sixteen: 4th January, 2010 - Lahore

We were all set to leave for Karachi. However the fog didn't allow us. The visibility at 0700 hours during those days was hardly ten feet. The clear hours during those days were only between 1100~1700 hours, which means only six hours of possible driving. In other words, Allah granted 'Rizq' for one further day in Lahore.

This day turned out to be one of the laziest day of my life. Spent regretting friends' invitations and sleeping most of the time.

Day Seventeen: 5th January, 2010 - Lahore~Sadiqabad

Surprisingly the fog was less dense when we checked the atmosphere around 0800 hours.

Our luggage was already packed. We did a quick breakfast, loaded luggage in the car and left around 0900 hours. Thanks to Allah the GT Road was clear -- however the fog could be seen in fields around us.

Bye Bye Lahore-- I have always loved you. I am very thankful to our relatives and friends for their hospitality and love. We were unable to meet many of our friends in Lahore and feel sorry for that. Insha Allah next time.

A Sammi Daewoo Bus. I have traveled a couple of times through Sammi Daewoo. There punctuality, service, cleanness, safety, staff manners and lawful driving on the road makes it the best transport company in Pakistan.

By this time our children have realised that most of the highway restaurants have playing area with swing, seesaw and slides. A threat about call of nature is the best way to convince parents to stop at such a place.
