Actually the thing is that we all have got a wrong concept about the tire profile. That is we consider the 195/65/15 as the side wall's height whereas it's NOT!
The profile no.(aspect ratio) is actually the percentage of the tires width section.
For e.g 195/65/15
Here 65 means that it's side wall's height is 65% of its width(195mm).
There isn't gonna be any noticable difference in the gap between the tires and the fenders.
So, 195/65/R15 and 205/60/R15 are almost simililar in size. The only difference is in the width of the tyres!
If you really want to go with Yoko dB's then AVS V550 205/50/R15 is the ultimate tire which I would be going for aswell soon.
That price seems fine to me, as I gave my 500km driven Eurostar's for 4K per piece.. but do try to get him to take them for 4.5K each!
As for the quality of materials, Yes there's a difference in a 2011 and 2007 car but the only thing that seemed to be deteriorated was the body paint!
