Honestly tell me - what will you be buying after selling this ? Are you going for IOS or Android now ? would love to know your answer ...

1. No multi-tasking
2. No cut, copy, and paste
3. No direct syncing for non-Exchange Outlook accounts yet?
4. No custom ringtone capability as default
5. Limited customizability on Start screen
6. Lack of some key apps
7. Office apps are pretty limited in terms of what you can do from the

9. Inconsistency in auto rotation (especially lame with kickstand and then Zune always in portrait mode)

Why thank you for the kind words. I'd like to keep this short and to the point, cause frankly, most of your queries are mere oversights of actual concurrent facts. Let me shed some light on them:

1. My phone's updated to the LATEST Mango. It has brought 500 NEW (yes, NEW) features to an already marvellous OS. One of the frontrunning features, is Multi-tasking. How long did it take the Iphone to come up with that? 3 years. WP7, 10 months.
2. The No-Do update, released in March 2011, brought about cut/copy/multi-paste functionality. How long did it take iphone to do that? 2 years. WP7, less than 6 months.
3. That's where the clouds come in. You'd be a little backward NOT to have backed up your contacts with gmail, or windows live by now. Once you're done, it syncs wirelessly, anytime of the day.
4. Mango allows Custom Ringtones, though hardly a concern for most people.
5. Live Tiles, Live Messages, Choice of Themes and you still want more?
6. Which key apps does it lack? It has them all. Even angry birds. And the marketplace is growing faster than seaweed.

I'll answer the rest in a paragraph:

Office 365 allows you to create, edit, view, and backup (!) documents, presentations and the likes online. Microsoft offers 25GB of free online storage. I doubt you need any more than that (not storage, but features in a mobile Office suite). Nokia is still a mobile giant, they're only behind in the high-end smartphone sector, and that will change. Till 2 years ago Samsung was considered a poor man's Nokia, and look at it now. The Skype deal ran in the billions. I expect massive integration and optimization for WP7 in the future. Microsoft also invested millions in cloud computing. So only the ignorant would underestimate the importance of Clouds. It is indeed the future. Apple's jumped on the bandwagon too with their icloud.

What's more, Apple doesn't integrate facebook, twitter, or online searches nearly as well as Microsoft did with this WP7. And I haven't even mentioned XBOX LIVE yet. Office 365 is the cherry on top and the built-in email client? That is just chuffing magic. Microsoft's proprietary Search engine BING is integrated into the O.S, it's share of the U.S market has grown to about 14% according to Microsoft as of June.

Not to mention, Microsoft recently clocked in RECORD revenues in the last fiscal year. You wanna know what a RECORD for Microsoft would be? haha

Essentially, this phone is a COMPLETE package built with everything right INTO the O.S from the very start.

I won't be shifting from the O.S. WP7 it is for me. =)

your comments are too apple comparative sir ... you are using statments like

you also need to understand that Win7 is just a variant , Windows CE and Windows Mobile has been there longer than Apple IOS - correct me if i am wrong. i dont agree with you comparative of 3 years to 10 months and later 2 years to 6 months. its not correct comparison Win7 doing Mango is also a result of more than 15 years of PDA / Smart phone history sir - compare with earlier breeds of MS Wins also - when IOS came out it was cutting edge consumer device and the hardware itself stood out. Samsung and HTC are doing what apple has already done in past capacitative touch screens , IMOLED etc etc. Its like learning and improvising all i can say. hey lets not jump into conclusion okay we are only comparing apple to wm7 at the moment - IOS 5 is around the corner too. Also sir you have updated the factory OS with new update , the hardware might not be ready and certainly will not be ready for next coming update , even if it can update but the user experience will suffer happens on every other phone. everyone is doing it right ? why win7 is the future of smart phones only? there are soo many apps currently support android and IOS also , why emphasis on WM7 only? heck even idrive supports both the above OS's. My friend thats not what all cloud is about? and who says cloud is the future ? cloud has always been there its just people are now starting hybrid and private clouds firms are opting to save up on alot of resources thus cloud is now getting so much traction - you only hear cloud no one would explain you what cloud is because its not a 5 letter word there are tons of different usages and different products to make you cloud ready. guess the biggest cloud there is since years ......... internet - rings a bell?

now getting back to the point , please dont take me as an apple fanboi , i dont own a single apple device neither i plan to nor do i have any android based devices my intelligence in smart phones is merely what i hear and see online at times , as far as phones go i like it very simple. i still love my 1112 Nokia which is the practical phone ever id be a brand new if anyones selling anytime of the day and for business i have BB Bold 9700 serves my purpose just right and yes for some music i have installed a 8gig mini SD which makes it easier for me to download directly on the phone or via my laptop to copy + paste directly no need to bull **** Zune/iTunes to make it work. maybe i am just thinking as a business user.

Being a business user i wouldn't want to be investing in phones etc ill live with what my company gives , i have options for BB , iphone and Win based devices , i am having this debate to actually get convinced on moving to another device of which half of the feature i will never use nor have the time do so but what the heck now lets also talk about android now because in my post i compared wm7.1 to android and IOS.

Be it Samsung or HTC Do you know how many win based devices they carry at the moment? all i see them growing is with or because of android based devices friend - again i dont find it a convincing enough comparison. Most features inbuilt in Mango can be achieved via 3rd party applications in Android at the moment. In this perspective Android offers many options as it has a larger developer community. The main difference between Android and Mango is their licensing. Mango is proprietary software developed by Microsoft while Android is distributed as free and open source software. However, comparing the market share YOU SIMPLY cannot ignore the lead Android devices have over Mango or win based hand held devices.

Let me help you with that closing fiscal year June 30th here are the standings for MS vs Apple. and you would be amazed to know that the net worth of Apple at this point is more than Intel(silicon giant) and Microsoft(windows) combined they are called " wintel " - this is org to org and net worth to net worth.

Here's where everything closed:
Microsoft (MSFT): $201.59 billion
Intel (INTC): $115.21 billion
Apple (AAPL): $317.60 billion
Add "Wintel" up and that comes to $316.8 billion versus Apple's $317.6.

and now getting back to your original statement sir

Sir do you even know what were the factors that help grew Microsoft's record revenue? Sir you just quoted a twitter headline it seems and rushed through the article , Microsofts record revenue has nothing to do either with win7.1 or its play in mobile phones. Heck they didnt even mention Win 7.1 or any mobile or smart phone growth etc in their earning call. and why would they even do it ? you dont disclose what can effect your share.

I believe anyone who comes here to look at a high-end phone they might be interested in buying would NOT be interested in the history of Windows CE.

Just for general info though, there's a difference between Record Revenues and Total Net Worth. I was referring to the former and the latter was never in dispute. If you take the Skype acquisition, together with growing Microsoft revenues, and the reliance enterprises are placing on clouds (which again Microsoft has invested heavily in), you'll know that Microsoft would readily incorporate all of THIS in their mobile platform, which is the WP7.

How do I talk WP7-experience with a guy who has never had any experience of any kind on his own? And I'm afraid a BB doesn't count here.

If you have to enlighten me or someone else to the inner workings of Microsoft, kindly send us a PM, or do it in the business thread or perhaps Tweet about it. I'm sure your followers would be thrilled.

For people interested in a feature-packed SAMSUNG FOCUS, I doubt it matters. What matters is that they're buying a gorgeous looking SuperAmoled device with a 1 GHz CPU, much better than average battery life, and a silky smooth Mango powered Windows Phone 7 which has an extremely promising future.
