design matters the most to me. agar design acha ho tu then main agay daykhta hoon. is liyay i never bought s3 and wont buy s4. going for note 2 as i was waiting to see this but disappointed

No matter how good design is you will get bored of it in a month or two, for me what matters is performance and S4 will be ahead of HTC ONE and Xperia Z.

Yes because only some people are not just copy cats and fans, they try to comment critically which is a great thing.
Secondly this 'brand' thing is robbing people, just putting a Samsung logo on S4 doubles its price, do you know?????

i don't like the andaa shape of s3 and don't like the back of s4 note 2 is rectangular so i prefer that over s3 and s4 mmm well design (not build quality) ain't that good.
p.s: no doubt that s4 is going to be a huge hit

samsung has done it well i guess the new s4 will look much sexier as it will have more screen till the edges as its of same size as s3. btw i have s3 since it was launched in pak and its all shinny however the new iphone 5 we bought 2 months back is all scratched up. i am so gona upgrade to s4 as it has double the ram and processor and guess what 2600 mah battery..so i guess it will be a practical phone for those who demand performance and not for people who take it as a fashion symbol

Not taking sides, but that is just production cost, what about R&D (which is sometimes twice as much as production), advertising (last year it was ~$2 Billion?), and other costs?

Yes maximum budget goes to advertising and Brand thing, which eventually has to be paid by end user.........I feel sorry for all the stupid fan boys! We feel proud that we own a Galaxy S4 or Iphone5 but in effect we are being robbed by these big giants. You must have heard about Xiaomi phones (Chinese brand), they are selling products which are comparable to Samsung specs wise but cost about half of that.

Samsung is making blast day by day. Now another model Galaxy S4 makes a boom in market if it comes with a price range of 35k to 37k. The model gets a lot of unique features which attracts a gadget lover.

Sir jee brand invest in a thing make designs hire PHD'S and make research this all will cost and years to make a single product or a different thing not like Chinese which just copy and paste there is hell lot of difference between both of them. Just don't count the production cost they will also offer 1 year after sales service and warranty with updates for more then one and a half years. These all thing required efforts and money.

all though I hated it's physical appearance. But It doesn't matter as performance and specs are more important then the design itself, the specs are mind-blowing, This phone is more of a monster. The sides of this phone is better then S III as the sides of S III were little bit slippery.

It's just like Nokia 3510, which was the redesigned version of 3310. The 3510 had nearly the same faceplate design of 3310, except the keypad design, which was different and softer.

Conclusion, it's a better phone when it comes to specs.
