Santro sensors cleaning

Please guide anye experienced and good mechanic who can tune and clean all sensors of Hyundai Santro. Recently bought a santro with automatic gear box, however it's fuel average is very poor, also it revs but doesn't accelarate. Engine has no smoke, no oil issues.

Cleaning sensors and tuning can be done by any expert mechanic.

Please let us know, if the santro u bought has the original autobox or some other car engine fitted in it. Bad fuel average and poor acceleration can be due to many reasons. if its a hyundai santro xing engine then i guess it can be scanned by scanner for error codes.

It's has santro's 4 speed automatic gearbox with original engine.

So, i guess this one is with swapped engine from indian hyundai santro xing....because automatic hyundai was never launched in pakistan OR it could be an imported one .

Anyways, howmuch mileage it has done. maybe it has crossed the limit for changing auto transmission oil.

what ur location so pw members can help finding good mechanic respectively with the location

On registration book it's category is of local car, hence it's not imported for sure. As far as I know only gearbox of the car is swapped. On the odo it has done around 250k. Transmission oil looks fresh as it's red in color. I am in Islamabad.

Check if the car heats up or you smell burning breaks when you accelerate, it can be jammed breaks that can cause this problem....

No there is no such smell. Basically the car's RPM increases but doesn't accelerate. I tried to accelerate by pushing the pedal fully and now car is not staying start, engine just shuts down as soon as leave the pedal.

Sir. If the car is connected toits computer correctly have it scanned... I personally bthunk there is something wrong with the transmission...

Thanks everyone for guidance! It's the gear box which is worn out so I have decided to install manual gear back!

That is the problem with the jugaadi swaps... The previous owner might have known the gear box is about to fail hance he sold the car and did not bother telling the new owner...

I would suggest taking someone experienced with you to check the next gear box... Cause basically it will be kabli or should I say used...

before installing new gear. Go to magazine lane and find mudasir gear wala in the used parts market. he is quite competent and can help. take ur car with you if possible or u can go alone, meet him and discuss. if he suggest for swap or repair then decide.

but make sure that it is really a gearbox issue and not related to tunning / sensors fault issue.
