Here is the thing Dear economy group fellows, lets talk practical.
I have a 2008 Corolla. Its CNGed since day 1. I recently tuned it up and got ALL the necessary manufacturer mentioned maintenance done. Its usually driven on GT road, about 150kms daily.
Its been giving me around 180-200kms with AC in a single CNG fill worth Rs 600. For 4 days a week, I have CNG and one day its driven on petrol cz of loadshedding, though I keep a light foot and I usually burn petrol for less than 40kms.
Here is the cost:
Total weekly run: 750kms.
Total fuel consumed: around 2500Rs ki CNG and hardly 250 ka petrol = 2750 Rs.
Cost per km: 3.6 Rs (Yes I LOVE <3 my car)
Now if with your system, what I have been seeing from several threads of yours, I'll possibly decrease this cost further to 3 Rs per km.
Provided what your hybrid system costs, does it seem really worth it to go thru all this hassle to save a mere 0.6 Rs/km? In how much time will be the actual cost be relieved? My heavily driven workhorse does 30000kms a year.
Looking at the future of CNG in Pakistan, I don't think your system is of much use unless it has some other advantages which you haven't posted yet.
Any comments?
