Also, try the MAF sensor from a known properly functioning car if possible. MAF sensors do go bad as well, causing the engine to run rich and they often do not trigger a check engine light. While on the topic, is it giving a check engine light?

I'm not really sure about Lahore, members from Lahore can better guide you on that. Any good setup should have a fuel pressure gauge in their tools arsenal.

You can try a kabuli pump. Quite often, you can get a healthy kabuli pump. Or you could try at any genuine Toyota parts dealer.

When i purchased this car... It has starting issue i went to mechanic he chexked fuel pump it was replaced with china pump by the previous user... I purchased kabli pump and installed it afterwards starting issue resolved.... But i will get the pressure checked as per your advice....
In my experience, it is perfectly OK. No need to worry. A lot of people will tell you that it should be better, but we've kept a well maintained Se Saloon and had it at home until recently. It never gave above 8 within city. Age has simply taken its toll upon it.

Its giving me around 8kmpl to 10kmpl within city without AC. On highway its 10-11kmpl max with/without AC.
I get around 8kmpl with or without ac and on highways with ac speed 80 to 100 14 to 15kmpl.
@babarhyd dont you get a bad mileage on highways or u rev high?
I usually drive with heavy foot. Avg speed is between 100kph to 120kph. Maybe that's why.
and RPM ?
I drive once between 5000 to 6000 RPM and got 7.8 kmpl on highway
At 115 to 120kph rpm is usually at 3000. While accelerating i go till 4500 minimum.
Salam bahi i recently purchased se saloon 2004 model A/T bahi ap say 2 chez pinchi thi ak tho jab 1st gear say shift kartha hay tho ak jhatka marti hay gadi baqi hear mai sahe shift hoti hay or dusra us k gear oil gauge kam tha mai nay 1 liter T4 dalwaya. Or dusri bath gadi jab start hoti hay back exhaust say ajeeb say jalny k smell athi hay sir. And abi thak i can't say any thing about fuel economy but suggest me how to get better economy and wasay ye kitna karti hay km/per
