Thermostate valve installed today Alhamdulillah. However summer is start but I don't think it is a good idea to remove thermostate in summer, its his own job to open/remove when temperature is achieved.

Dear i want to buy a car which one is good regarding all aspects. Mileage Maintenance Troubleshooting Parts(price+easy access) Resale Performance (AC+load) Need fair suggestions as i m not much rich and i want to buy a car to used max 600 km in a month. So i want to spend descent amount and wand to buy trouble free car. I was used khyber (96) and margalla(98)and was very satisfy with both car.so dear all pls guide me

My experience regarding having thermostat and auto fan is excellent.

• I feel better compression (good pick).
• Engine stable quickly within 2 to 3 min.
• Heater working (no need of it but I am happy that it is also working).
• And I am sure this will also Improves fuel economy as well.

Before installing I was worried a bit, because some other guys on this forum/topic shared bad experience in which they end up with heatup issue and damage gaskit, also every other mechanic is against installing thermostat and auto fan working. But as most of the friend here recommend this I decided to do it my self.

But before doing any thing, I completely understand "how cooling system works" and what is the job of thermostat. And I also make sure my car's heat gauge is working perfectly. In the end I did it correctly.

Now I always recommend thermostat and auto fan, as it save engine and extend its life.

As Salam o Alaikum PakWheeler's.

Need to ask something. I have khyber with stock engine, I have replaced spark plugs 4000 KM ago along with good quality some america made spark cables (grey color). Car is totally running over petrol. No CNG setup installed. I feel like IGNITION Timing is not working properly. As when i dismantled previous spark plugs the plug on 1st cylinder was like black/ burnt and remaining 2 was totally red color. Now have installed NGK-R series plugs.

Can you guys refer some one in KARACHI who can check and adjust this IGNITION Timing(with timing gun or any proper tool) and check these plugs to perform at it's best?

Also my car radiator fan is on auto ON/OFF mode which works perfectly fine when needed. I think i have thermostat installed in it. Is there any way to find out if thermostat is present or not. I don't want to go to these seasonal mechanics just to find this out. They may create any new issue with respect to thermostat.

I have attached picture of all 3 spark plugs

These are previous spark plugs. Dnt know the reason for black spark plug. Most left plug was in the 1st cylinder.

For thermostat i will start the car and will check at idle and a little rmp if the water circulates or not.

I had checked the water movement at idle and with a very little RPM. At IDLE state no movement, at minimum RPM water starts circulating.

This means no thermostat in my car ?? Please suggest a place to buy a good quality thermostat for suzuki khyber 1996.

P.S: Most mechanics says: no need for thermostat it will heat up the car more.

I think if there is some thing which was installed previously as OEM product by the auto maker than that product must be of some need ryt?

Any suggestion from you guys regarding adding thermostat ?

Thanks for your comment In Sha Allah I will look for this issue after ramdan. At one of my previous post a senior pakwheeler guy mentioned a number and name of a guy IRSHAD for engine compression testing and this stuff. Have any one of you guys had a visit to his garage?

Using cng but petrol also on.what is this happening.is there any switch issue.suddenly car petrol on during running on CNG and this indication on kit button.baleno efi
