mixture screw is outside but needle valve is inside the carb it closes the flow of petrol to float bowl with the help of float.

Its marked as item#39 in the reference given below and also the recommended float setting in the other link

I got it now, i should have looked back at those images. Actually the mixture set screw looks more like a needle than the float needle which is like a pencil, so got confused.

I will try to get it adjusted today as it needs opening of the carb

after 2 days of khajal khawari,,finally got new carb kabli in khyber..now car runs fine on petrol,no smoke or thing!!
now question is the card has no hole for cng..wat shud i do?
1-shud i get it drilled???i personally dont want drilling as it runs good on petrol,drilling mite disturb it somehow..
2-shud i get it venturi like mehran has?like inside air filter assembly,with two arms to provide cng to carb mouth..
or 3rdly put a venturi on top of carb...
i personally feel like goin for 2nd option as its easy to do..venturi original to b placed on top of carb is expensive and it makes air filter assembly a bit upward!
plz suggest...
im running car on petrol,and might run it tht way for day or two but gotta get cng back!
BTW wats best mileage one can get frm khyber??on petrol tht is!

No sight glass in carb.
And needle valve is the same mixture set screw or is it internal part?

Needle valve is in the carb top hat, and has a float attached to it, it functions like the flushtank of your toilet, fills to its level and closes it off.

get original landi venturi for khyber. i think it'll go under the filter housing on the top of carb's mouth. whichever you go for, just DONT drill into the carb!

yup,dont want to ruin the carb no..i think 2nd option is better,which is puttin mehran venturi inside air filter housing...
landi venturi wud b expensive,around 1800-2000 ,i guess...i like mehran venturi option,wat u ppl suggest?

im thinking to put venturi like suzuli alto has..but i visited one shop just to knw abt price,he said venturi is for 500 but it wont fit in khyber..he has khyber and said k us ny apni khyber may try ke the n it didnt perform well ! i need input from experts tht shud i opt for this venturi?i mean the alto one!

i have plans to buy liana,and tht too from karachi...i think i can get a liana 2006 or 7 model in around 650-700k there..its a good car but most under estimated car by pakistani awam

i plan to keep watever car i bought for a few years so khi number wont b a problem...bank lease is 2nd option but ill end up with huge markup payments so liana might b the final result...but thts in january or feb !

plus iwhen i smell from exhaust, i can smell a bit of petroll sweet smell,is it running rich?no black smoke on hi or low rpms...

Around 13km/litre in city driving without AC.
Dont know about the petrol smell you are talking about.

i put 1000RS petrol..around 11.75 liters..now car has run 56 kms and petrol i guess is still 60% left..i think 12 liters may 150 kms tou kry ge..it wud b around 12 kmph...

With AC in city driving I get around 10~11km/litre depending on the driving style.
On long routes it does around 16~17km/litre with AC.
If kept at a speed of 90km/h then it does around 19km/litre.
19km/litre was the best that it did on highway.
