Sorry bro, you are not right thinking that air will come up once you have fitted a new pipe and fill the reservoir afterwards. I wouldnt have insisted if you havent wrote "am i right?" otherwise its your car and your call.
You may disagree with my point , its your right but I have to stick to my point on this one as i would have made sure the system is bled properly before i take the car on the road for the sake of my family and other's.
Brief procedure for brake fluid change
1. with the help of a syringe, empty out the brake fluid reservoir.
2. fill it to the full mark with new oil of the same grade
3. bleed in the sequence mentioned in the previous post
4. bleed till you see fresh oil coming out of each nozzle.
5. Dont let the fluid level in the reservoir to drop below low mark.
