Sep 2-4&10-14 2011: Kaghan Valley; A trip to 12 Lakes & Preparation trek of Miranjani

My cousin standing in front of one of the many treks for Miranjani

His name is Moiz and it was his debut on the treks

Finally the guide came and there was another person with him who was also a guide. We went to the bazaar quickly to get more water bottles as we were carrying only two and also some extra snacks.

This is the turn on Governor House road ahead of church area downwards on right side which leads to the starting point of trek.

After turning downwards, a right turn comes which goes down to Bakot forest and village. Skip this right turn and go straight.

Then comes another T section which looks like this. The trek starts from the place where my car is parked and goes upwards behind this white hut.

This is the road which comes from Nathia Gali.

The hut is on my back side.

If you turn right then it will go to Khann Kalaan.

And... if you go straight then it will lead to Eden View Hotel and then to waterfalls. This road is also called abshaar road.

This one also leads to Namli and Maira villages.
