Aurora is just a Visualization of Earth's magnetic field + sun light. I won't like to kind of Hijack this thread by going into side discussions. It is sometimes visible at high altitude. Wiki has better explanation. Yeah, my Pal claims he has seen it above Nanga Parbat...

AoA, Has anyone witnessed Aurora or Northern Lights at such Altitude in Pakistan?
A friend of mine, claims he had seen strange bluish green lights near top of killer mountain.....
By the way, this is a great thread....keep it up guys

It would be really interesting to see auroras in Pakistan but it must be a very rare event in this part of the world if ever visible.
