Metering: Spot
Scene mode: Landscape with maximum contrast and sharpness which gives dark blue skies without using any filters. This is Canon specific method to get the dark blue skies in-camera.

Is there any village/summer settlement there?

its tur if u travel at speed of 100km avg thorugh out ur course... u can reach thr in 7 hours.... i did twice with very good speed still safer... to reach naran in 9 hours.. and mind first was on Cultus - 2003 model (via Motor way) and other second run was on Khyber 99 model (via GT Road and onwards)...

So naive to tell us that we will reach Naran in 7 hours hehe

Add another 9 hrs to it and then it seems realistic

My earlier K100d is ok but this Kr is probably the best in its category in low light performance. ISO range 200-12800 and expandable to 25600.

dharam sar is accesable via jeep?????

Jeep trek goes till Dharam Sar Lake and its a few feet walk only.

For Sambak Sar Lake, there is no defined jeep trek but our driver took the families to the lake with his own created route on the slopes of the ascending trek till Sambak Sar Lake.

This lake is around 1.5 km away from the main jeep trek.

This is the trek location of Babusar Lakes. Also, the best location to view Nanga Parbat is at the top of this mountain in this area.

There is an abandoned establishment of stone made home here.
