As we started the return leg, our guide disappeared :o

We tried to locate him all around but no success. He wasn't responding to the calls either.

Then suddenly, we heard his voice from right side mountains. Within 5 minutes he had climbed the slope on left side of Surkhail Lake to spot some lakes on the other side of the mountain but he told us there were no lakes on the other side. Google Earth confirms that also.

Our return plan was to use the 2nd route and do a big circle around the upper lakes of Sat Sar Mala till 2nd lake.

Still trekking above 14,000 ft.

This shot shows our 'going up' route over the rocks and stones till 5th lake.

The visible lake is 4th one of Sat Sar Mala series.

The views around were breathtaking but the trek ahead was not less than breath stopping

I didn't realize that the grassy slope would be so steep.

And guide sahab was saying: "bhai khuley khuley qadam rakho aur jaldi chalo. Kuch nahi ho ga " :S

Yea, i would agree with that as well. We could not go to Sangar Lake due to rain and time shortage but i have heard that Sangar is also very beautiful.
