Moderators have a thankless job to do. Most of the time their actions result in deleting or editing posts. These actions, no matter which moderator was involved, naturally become controversial and sometimes result in venting just like this thread. 
Zeejigs, it appears that you would have had problem accepting the facts why your posts were deleted in the mentioned thread, no matter which moderator was involved. Also, it is quite evident that you are quite displeased by apparent preferential treatment extended to another member involved in this scenario; which maybe the real reason why you started this thread on the first place.
First, let me apologize to you and all other members who believe that they have been wronged by a moderator for whatever reason. panicslayer has already expressed this sentiment and I thank him for his effort.
Here is the reality; Cylestyne did what any other moderator would have done to clean up the mess in the mentioned thread. It appears personal to you because most of the deleted off topic replies were yours. It wouldn't have mattered to you who did the clean up; you were going to take it they way you have, which is very inconsiderate, to say the least. You were warned, repeatedly, to stop posting off topic replies, which you not only ignored but flaunted in moderators face by posting even more off topic replies. Put yourself in Cylestynes shoes, or for that matter any moderator, and look at this situation now. I am sure if you take your hatred blinders of for a moment and look at it realistically, you will realize why these actions were necessary.
Honestly speaking, no explanation is going to be enough for you, as long as you keep thinking that Cylestynes has some sort of personal vendetta against you. When you get over this complete misconception, you will start to see the light.
