Don't go about changing oil brands in the middle of your vehicle's running life, especially not the grade. You are prone to have a detergent affect & that could lead to premature engine failure / leakages.

Stick to what you are using, change to recommended oils once engine overhauled.

im not going to changing brand in engine oil im using Delo Gold Ultra & i recently buy this car i don't know know previous owner using which Gear oil / Auto Transmission oil thats why im asking here

Also what brand do you guys recommend? How's Mobil-1 or should we go for Caltex or Toyota oil?

Use 10W-40 which is perfect according Pak's weather conditions.

Use Mobil 1 or Liqui Moly

I just picked up 4 runner 1996 Toyota Hilux Surf 4runner · SSR-X WITH 1KZ-TE DIESEL. I AM GETTING all kind of conflicting advice. I do not know its history other than it came from Japan with 150000KM. It is very clean and looks very well maintained. What would you replace to prepare for long 3000KM trip?
