Agusta Westland A109 Helicopter has acrylic windshields.

And procedure of buffing the complete windscreen is written in its

manual .

Plexi glass is used for side windows on Aircrafts which dont have to take
blunt forces of nature .
plus a bird hit on the side window is very unlikely.

AFAIK it's actually Polycarbonate (LEXAN(R)), not Plexiglas.

Well All in all, he messed up my original Screen and I have had to replace it and had to pay for breaking the screen

Sorry to interupt bro but I had changed the screen of your cruiser when It was with me dont know the date but I changed it and it survived for 6 years. Btw. He charged tooo much I pay him only 1000 for getting the screen buffed and every time I visit his shop I had to fight for my right as his service charges are floating in skies. He charged you soo much

It must be 'Laminated' (If its the correct word.
The front glass does not shatter like rear glass or windows.

Shan windscreen shop is a big fraud. He ruined my original Honda cf4 windscreen by removing the UV coating and made it ugly. I logged my complaint on their provided email address twice but they never replied. Never go to Shan windscreen because they are bad and unprofessional people who don't have any sense, how to treat the windscreen properly with what type of specific material and grinder force required for different scratches. They simply apply full face of grinder with full force and ruins the windscreens solar coating thus making them tint less with more light penetration of UV rays inside car which raises the interior temperature and also making windscreen ugly like mehran clear cheap screen. My advice to all that avoid polishing the screens especially from stupid and fraud Shan people.

There's no such thing as buffing a windscreen. Cuff up some money and replace only. This is Pakistan where windshields don't cost a fortune and it's not hard to find an oem screen. Buffing and totkas the west use only because insurance and cost is high.

I recently visited two main windscreen dealers at Montgomery road Lahore i.e. Madina and Waqas. Anyone please advise me which dealer is more suitable for replacing windscreen.

Madina is better. Look for Fuyao glass at 786 screen. Which car windscreen you're looking for ?

I am looking for honda civic exi 2005 model. As I remember 786 dealer on Montgomery road used to deal in suzuki parts but this was long ago. Maybe he has started to supply other cars parts. I don't think 786 dealer is specialized in windscreen sale.

They are stocking fuyao windshields so do check up with them. Also you can look at Mian screen , Punjab screen.

Perhaps Fuyao is a chineese brand. Original honda civic 2005 windscreen has a light green tint on exterior surface which makes it darker and thus sunlight rays filtered and reducing load on A/C. Furthermore, it gives a beautiful look. Is there any method to check that new windscreen tint look is exactly the same like original. Someone told me that its better to change screen at shop as its easy to match it with your original screen and if it not found up to mark then you can change and select other piece without wasting time. Please give me further advice.

Fuyao is an OEM Chinese brand . It's the OEM manufacturer for Audi BMW Tesla GM Range Rover Toyota Suzuki Honda etc to name a few. I'm certain that fuyao glass will be technically superior both tech wise and efficient then what was installed back in 2005 since the advancement of float glass , coatings , machines and automation. In USA insurance is most likely to install Fuyao glass costing a whopping $500-600. Thus if you're getting Fuyao definitely go for it .

hi , man i visit Shan Wind screen , they work on my car and i am 100% satisfied they are really professional, When i discussed about this Car and show him picture of the car, He remember and Said, This is not our fault , he told me story of this car, its was very interested, Car owner by self break it, on throwing cold water on it in the month of June, while he came for ATM, Brother i have car business and work with him 1000 time , we never face this kind of problem, ,, We should accept our fault, thanks for every one, these are my views.
