agar aapki car ka exhaust black hy tb bhi car ka engine weak hy ... itna ni pta k it happens with the quality of fuel you are using ..

So by that rationale all Porsches, big BMWs, etc running in Germany are weak.. lol

Zulfiqar BHAI what is exact step by step method and precautions to clean motorcycle's aluminium head / Cylender with Hydrofluoric Acid.
Will the aluminium not come black with the passage of time ?
Should we also use any type of polish after this cleaning process ?

Xulfiqar bhai ... here in saudia I have seen most of new cars either Germans or Japanese seen their exhaust black ... dont know why??? So the result I got is if your exhaust is black your engine is not weak, agar dhuaan chhorti ho to phr engine weak hy ...

Its not true, the chances are now 40% that you got your car recovered, if it is recovered the parts are missing ... in my residence area 3 cars got stolen and still its more than one almost more than a year and other one is more than 5 months havent recovered yet... and one recovered after 1 month ... all three of them are Nissan Sunny ... 2 2000 model and 1 1994 model...

Dear Sir, infact I have already read this on Wiki before asking the questions. Actually I want to know the practical approach of a professional toward this method of aluminium cleaning and polishing.
If you know any alternate method please let us know.

I think the blackness is probably due to un-burnt carbon which comes out of the exhaust from time to time or something similar...like you heat a piece of metal using candle and it turns black if it is slightly away from the flame. similarly the engine shouldn't turn black because it is very close to the flame. I mean the flame is inside it, so its closer than anything.

almost all exhaust systems have that blackness after some time of use, from what I see.

^^ The blackness from the flame is due to the carbon deposits from burning of the wax, similarly in engines you burn hydrocarbon fuel and lubricate it with hydrocarbon oil.

Its pretty normal phenomena. All engines will push out some carbon soot specially when under full load.

Use plastic gloves to handle it, use it only in max 10% conc in water, protect your skin very very keenly, make sure to wash it only where the washout water can be ran down a proper drain, immediately wash the part with soap and water to neutralize the wash off. This stuff can kill you - very very painfully.

at first - only use on a small hidden portion to test, not all aluminium castings are compatible. For a very safe way - remove item and bead blast it.

I have heard that inside the aluminium/aluminium-alloy block, there is steel lining/sleeves which is what comes in contact with the pistons/oil and the aluminium/aluminium-alloy is never exposed. is that true for all cars or only some?

it does make sense, because aluminium is much softer than most or all steels.

then they use "muss" aka the thing to make room for bigger bolt
now this also isn't solution
start using lather washiles
and market ones don't do the job
get a custom one made from moochii
it will worsk

When I was abroad, Toyota service charges for my included cost of washer for oil drain nut and they changed it every time when oil was changed. Here in Pakistan I asked at one of renowned Toyota dealership workshop to change the washer and they were stunned. They were like "they never heard about any one changing this washer" Even parts guy was telling that he would sell bolt and washer both but not washer alone.
